I had a very late arrival and the doorman was extremely kind and frendly.Unfortunately I had no time for Spa ,relaxation and so on , but I'll return and take advantage for all this

The size of the rooms is exceptional ...very hospitable .. Close to main shopping and dinning area

This hotel is wonderful; it's the best I have ever stayed at in Europe. It's beautiful on the inside and very comfortable. There was plenty of room and the bed was big and plush. The bathroom was very fancy and I loved the big shower with the spa rain shower-head in the ceiling. The spa had such a relaxing atmosphere and made you feel like you were in a luxurious Roman bathhouse. The massage therapist was brilliant and I recommend booking a massage with her- you won't be disappointed. Also, the hotel is right in the middle of the city- within walking distance to Petite France, shopping, restaurants, and the Cathedral area. The breakfast was heavenly with a great selection. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It's very hard to drive to and our GPS was unable to find its exact location. If driving I recommend parking at a public lot and then walking to the hotel- it's much easier to find on foot. This hotel is expensive and I would expect the breakfast price to be included, but it was not. It was expensive at 22 Euro a person, but we paid for the breakfast and were not disappointed.

Impeccable service, attention to every detail! Beautiful hotel, quaint, charming with a French flare but modern amenities. Perfect location in the Petite France area. Convenient sightseeing and shopping out the front door. Electric toilet with heated seat, free wifi and rain-head showers made this hotel stand out from most. Although we didn't have time, there is also a spa downstairs! Decor was charming, beds super comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Due to its super convenient location, getting into the hotel just required a phone cll so they could come out and swipe a card to lower the pedestrian gate. Not really a problem, as it made for a quiet trafficless location!

Most things, friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Clean and comfortable rooms. There is a tea salon bar which is nice to relax in. Location is perfect close to shops and major tourist sites.

Very charming, very calm and cosy hotel , very well situated in the Petite France area , 5 minutes from the Cathedral . Very clean and spacious brand new rooms . Incredibly nice staff , always looking for your comfort . No restaurant inside but the room service and the breakfast were delicious and many restaurants next door . Very nice spa . We really recommend it .

Nothing . We had the Suite prestige (duplex) maybe a little bit expensive and could be a little bit better decorated but the room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was great . We slept very well.

Since the hotel is located in a walking zone (no cars allowed), more details should be communicated on how to access the hotel...

The mattress we had was a dense foam type and it retained the body heat so much, it felt like we were cooking. This made for poor quality speed.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We took a chance as the website had not yet been completed and all we had to go on were a couple of reviews but the central location in Le Petit France and the glowing reviews encouraged us to book. iv been totally inspired to review the hotel myself as we had such a wonderful few days at the hotel. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully unique. I was looking for a romantic, beautifully designed and relaxing hotel and we found it here. The attention to detail at the bouclier d'or was very special, the staff were relaxed, professional and very helpful. On our first night the staff recommended a traditional restaurant which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. The spa was also clean, relaxing and revived us after long evenings spent by drinking wine by the cathedral. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The breakfast was good but a little overpriced.
