I liked the general design and the staff response was excellant as was the quality of breakfast

I was dissappionted that they didnt ensure at breakfast that items whether coffee or food were not fully topped up without asking and the policy of not cleaning the rooms until late afternnon was dissappionting although they responded immediately when asked

It was a lovely place to escape to. The staff were very friendly and rooms immaculate.

A full length mirror would have been really good after all the shopping! We did have one - but it was horizontal and above the bed!!!

I loved the macarons! I also liked the service received from the staff, who were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Our room was a little small to accommodate our baby's cot. It meant that we had to move the cot every time we needed to go to the bathroom or leave the bedroom which was a bit annoying. A room which was slightly bigger would have been good and would have made our stay more comfortable.

All staffs are friendly and helpful.

The staff was super accommodating and the location was on point.

The staff, exellent service, nice room, central.

Great hotel stay, great staff who assisted with accurate and current information, enabling a recommendation for a return visit. Hotel provided a very generous sized modern and well equiped room. Just loved their design flair for the rooms.

Unfortunately the weather was damp, which prevented our planned use of the hotel courtyard dining and bar facilities. Next time.

Location and hotel style. Size of the rooms and hot tube!

The front desk girl doens't speaks English. One day, they forgot to clean our room and to turn on the hot tube to make it ready when we arrive.

Very friendly helpful and courteous staff

We liked the location, in the central downtown area and within walking distance of many attractions. We also liked the friendliness and help of the staff. The room had good air conditioning (cooling).

Our room included a fancy jet-spa tub. This had high sides and was very difficult to use. We would strongly prefer a shower vs. a tub. Also the tub and sink were were not in a separate room. Our preference would have these in a separate, attached room. The only item in a small, separate room was the toilet; and this was mounted somewhat high on the wall making it difficult for a "shorter" person to use.

The excellent service we received from the helpful staff, and the wounder-full hotel room that had the best beg i have ever slept in.

I liked everything about the room, the staff and the romantic setting within the hotel. But also having it close the the hart of Bordeaux.

Helpful, friendly staff, I was able to extend my staff without changing rooms. The room was excellent set up, with IPod player and Nespresso machine. Toiletries very good. Great range of wines and nice snacks in the lovely central courtyard.

A minor point, but whilst having a nice Bordeaux in the central courtyard one evening, my friend was hot on the arm by a spiny fruit that fell from one of the trees there. Fortunately, no wine was spilt.

Very friendly welcome with a fantastic room including a surprise jacuzzi. Centrally placed in Bordeaux for all the shops and sights.

We chose the hotel because of the wine tasting and fabulous courtyard.We were however very disappointed to find that when we went early on the Saturday evening to sample the wine and astmosphere, to be told it was shut 'exceptionally' for the evening. This weekend was booked for my husband's birthday and being a bit of a wine buff he had been looking forward to this part of the break immensly. We did point this out to the staff at the time and when checking out, but did not feel the staff took it very seriously ... a discount or gesture would have been nice.

The location was very good, a short walk to places of interest and shopping. Wonderful old building full of atmosphere and modern facilities.

I was at a conference but had been joined by grown up family living abroad for a joint business/vacation . I booked an apartment and a double room. The apartment I booked was perfect, with a large comfortable living area. The individual room was a bit small, but very comfortable. We got totally caffeinated with the espresso machine . We had a mixture of self-catering and dining out at a restaurant , "Belle Epoche" , recommended by the staff. That we went back to the same restaurant twice was indicative of it's quality. The staff were always helpful and very pleasant. lovely people who really seem to care about their guests.

Some of the furniture and fittings were a bit flimsy and I doubt that they will stand up to long-term use from guests .

Cleverly modernised 18th century building, very central but quiet, outstanding service, charming courtyard and bar.

Position, friendliness, design

The lift is rather unusual, you have to get used to it :o) No garage, the next public parking is located about 300 mts. from the hotel.

The friendly welcome, the big room, the character and style of the building, the location, the comfortable bed, the shower, the fruit, the breakfast, the tv with English channels and very good coverage of the Olympics.

Rooms very compact. Didn't at all appear like the pictures on the internet
