Hôtel Le Bristol  

La ubicación del hotel es buena, pero la calle es muy ruidosa, por lo cual tuve que cambiar de habitación del 2 piso al 5 piso para poder descansar. Nos dieron una habitación en el 5 piso, que no tenia teléfono, pero que los tontos de la consejería nos llamaban y el teléfono no existía, por tanto para las personas que nos buscaban nuca estábamos. El baño era un desastre, con un escalón de casi 50 cm de alto, muy peligroso, sin ningún agarre, por suerte no nos paso nada. No regresaría nunca en mi vida a ese hotel

Hotel muy bien ubicado en una calle peatonal llena de restaurantes y bares. Cerca de todo. Muy cómodo el parking a media cuadra

El hotel es excelente, de lo mejor que hemos tenido en Francia, muy limpio, perfecto en los servicios, restaurant todo el día, comida sabrosa y abundante, el personal de recepción muy amable. La ubicación excelente a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de tren, a 15 minutos a pie de la catedral y el centro, a 10 minutos a pie del centro de convenciones. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Loved the location. Staff were wonderful especially one young gentleman. Unfortunately, I did not get his name; but he was extremely helpful and friendly. Easy to get into the city, parking, and finding hotel.

Extremely friendly staff, always willing to help, provide advice, look things up for us. We were given bigger rooms for 3 as hotel was not full. Also excellent location and restaurant with a menu with something for everyone.

Wifi didn't work too well on the front facing rooms - but worked fine on the back. Again, front rooms slightly noisy as facing the main Erlon square with restaurants and bars - more than the noise from revellers bothered by noise from early morning street cleaning. To avoid both problems, you could ask for a room on the back of the hotel.

We liked the addition of the Edito Brasserie to the hotel and the refurbishment, so far as it has gone to update what were fairly tired facilities. The hotel rooms, while clean and perfectly adequate, still need some updating. This should be done, if possible, without destroying the charming 'old french' feeling which pervades the hotel

Very convenient for underground car park. Excellent breakfast, comfortable quiet room. Have been using le Bristol for years, so convenient, Reims is a good stopping point on the way east from Calais.

Quite shocked to find that the beautiful old Belle Epoque bar and restaurant are no more. How could the new owners do that? A piece of history bulldozed away. Now fast food just like another dozen others, no charm at all.

The hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and the New Year's Eve meal we had was excellent.

It appers that this hotel was rated as a 2-star hotel and we should not have been surprised that this was the case. We requested a room with a bath room (with a bath tub) but the room booked for us did not have a bath tub. When we made a complaint they allocated to us a room on the 3rd floor whether two single beds and one double bed were squeezed into and there was absolutely no room to do anything else. The furniture was falliing apart and the bath room was very old. It took some time before we got hot water in the bath. All in all, this hotel should not be listed in the booking.com website. On top of this for breakfast there was nothing left to eat (except for processed meat) and we had to go to Hotel Continental opposite to the hotel for breakfast. We felt uttely let down and next time we will make sure that we go for a room which is priced at last £100. You should put the following warning on your website: "The hotel's ground floor is used as a brasserie and in the evening there are unsavoury people hanging around at the entrance to the hotel".

A basic comfortable tourist hotel in an excellent location

Car parking charges were slightly higher than advertised by booking.com. 2 street side rooms were booked but one room was at the back with a view of a nearby tiled roof.

It has an excellent location and all the hotel staff were very helpful. The price is reasonable.

The location of this hotel was excellent.

The hotel is right in the heart of Reims and very close to the train station.

The main street (mall) is full of outdoor restaurants which pack up late every night and set up early the following day. All deliveries for the restaurants are done via the main street. Taking all this into consideration if you are a light sleeper or want total peace and quiet, I would stay away from the Reims main street (mall). This is not a criticism of the hotel !

good size room and very clean quite spacious view very poor despite being listed as street view all you could see was a brick wall.

The restaurant. Location.

The hotel reception and lift were modern and eyecatching. The rooms were dated and not well laid out. We booked a twin room at the front and were given a triple room at the back. The lady receptionist was aloof, the gentleman (later in the evening) was very helpful.

Very central location - right on the main street for restaurants with easy parking. The staff were helpful and the room was recently decorated with a wonderful en suite shower.

They have had a complete transformation since our original visit in 2011 and much of the quirky, old-style charm has been replaced by standard hotel decoration and format. The room overlooking the street (where we were this year) was very noisy but this is to be balanced against the excellent, central location.

Location was wonderful and right in the heart of Reims. Reception staff very helpful. Attached restaurant served every type of food which was very useful for the family mixing pizzas with decent gourmet meals.
