A/C Bathroom was clean and pretty big Bed was comfortable Noise level was good Close metro stop
Our toilet did not flush properly and after asking for it to be fixed we were told someone would be up soon - no one ever came up! Location is a little bit out of the city centre
there some sounds from outside!!!!
Very clase to the metro exit
Everything was ok
Clean sheets Ease of access
1) Very welcoming hotel stuff. 2) Good room-service every day. 3) Teapot, cups and tea is rarity in Paris hotels. 3) Close location to metro station. 4) On hot days the air conditioner was turned on by room-service lady, so when we got back to hotel, our room was at pleasantly low temperature. 5) Close to the channel where every evening (unless it rains), many students resting. You can take your own drinkins and snacks and join them if you like that kind of event. 6) There are extra pillows. Convenient if you want to watch television in the evening. 7) Supermarket next door.
1) WiFi did not work on my laptop. I had to do some work and for that reason specifically choose hotel with free WiFi, but even hotel stuff could not help me with connection. The only way I was able to connect to WiFi was via iPhone, but network speed was ridiculously slow and you have to log-in every time you start browser. 2) Television in French only, except for one channel in German and one news channel in English. 3) For those who prefer to sleep in absolute quiet, sound (or I'd say - more like vibration) of metro, might become an issue. But it is not really thing that hotel can fix.
- Staff very friendly and polite and speak english - Hotel situated right next to Riquet metro station (10 minutes to Opera station) - Wifi works fine - Rooms tiny but sufficient (you are not in Paris for hotel right?)
- Cleanliness could be better I guess
Secure underground parking, close to Metro and to the wonderful Villette Basin
All the facilities were of the basic variety but for one night it was all we needed. Not enough comfort to stay much longer.
- friendly and helpfull staff - near good metro station - clean - good wifi - comfortable bed
Friendly - easy in/out parking on street simple breakfast good metro close neighbourhood v diverse cool local cafes/shops
Room v small ( to be fair) as advertised)
The location was amazing for getting into Paris. The hotel is on a main road, but behind is a lovely park and canal.
We booked for 2 adults, 1 child and a baby. when we arrived all the rooms only have a double bed. Fair enough to the staff they arranged another bed
The staff was vey kind.
The room was nothing like the picture, it was on the ground floor with very poor acoustic insulation so it's a bit like sleeping on the sidewalk. Wifi never worked, the bathroom is really strange, without a box for the shower. Overpriced for what it has to offer.
Location and friendly staff
Narrow room: tiny sink and incessant noise of the vacuum fan
Every thing the themes rock
Needed Metro pass zone 1-3
The staff was genuinely welcoming, well-informed, and multilingual. They cheerfully assisted with changes, bookings, and connections that made the stay pleasant and smooth. Clean accommodation and yummy breakfast options make them stand out. Although I was far from my physical home, the friendly and caring staff made me feel at home in Paris. The location near the canal is a special treat of nature and culture in all its Parisian forms. There is a flee market across the street on certain days. A grocery, many shops and delicious food venues are just outside the door. Metro, train, and bus stops are a delightful "Paris 5" minutes in either direction. I am happy to say the sun always shined over Le Canal.
WiFi was down regularly but the staff would do what they could to accommodate me.
Too expensive for what it is. Bed cover was dirty and cleaner was very loud in the morning. It was impossible to rest!
It was very run down and dirty.
Location and bakery nearby
Small, a little beat up
Near metro station, pleasant staff (agreed to change the room because the first one had strange smell).
Noise coming from corridor (bad isolation), small room, breakfast variety is small, bad wifi connection, street where the hotel is located seems unsafe.
Wifi and location was great it's right outside when you exit Riquet metro
The rooms are soooo tiny! It was a squeeze esp in the bathroom. You couldn't fit 2 people in there and I'm quite small person. Also the elevator was so slow!
Clean room and comfy bed
Super small room, overpriced
everything was clean and there was free wifi in the room
We liked the welcome, the size of the lift - 3 adults and a couple of suitcases no problem! (unusual for paris). The air conditioning was effective, there was room to walk around the bed. The bathroom and the shower were clean. The Wi-Fi was easy to use in reception. The area was nice to stroll around and there were plenty of places to eat and chill out. This hotel is great value for money.
Can't think of anything! Everything went well.
Reasonably well situated, good price, clean and tidy.
Had booked the room on the understanding a cot would be provided and phoned a week prior to our arrival to confirm this but no cot was in the room when we got there. Staff where not really helpful when asked to provide one until it was highlighted on the booking form and that it could be breach of contract. Our room was a little tired and could have done with a redecoration
Friendly staff! Provided a great help while my phone and credit card were be stolen in tube station. Thank you very much for that!!! Also, it is a very comfort and nice to stay.
We didn't mind the walk to the place but some would! The bed was really comfy and there was a kettle, great for morning coffee.
We knew some of the rooms were small but I emailed 3 months in advance to request a room on the 5th floor (larger but still standard price)- they didn't give us this and the room really was like a box, opened doors into other rooms told us ours was small in comparison which considering we were staying 5 nights seemed slightly extraordinary room allocation on the hotels part.
