Hôtel Le Carnot

Good clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and decent fairly priced food.

Location was ideal as base for trips into surrounding area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent.

Only downside was lack of parking

The facilities were rather basic as tends to be the case with these type of non chain French hotels, but at least all the plumbing worked well.

The hotel is centrally located, yet there is very little noise from the street. The décor is very pleasant, the welcome very friendly and warm and our room, on the top floor, was spacious and very clean. We would certainly go back to Le Carnot.

We loved the hotel staff especially as they paid attention to our children which was great. It had a real French charm to it

Some hooks for towels was all that we missed!

Accomodating to the children, friendly staff, good location.

No air con and it was really warm! No lift.

Jacuzzi bath was a hit with the children. Very central with beach at end of road. Beds were very comfortable.

Parking on street but not too difficult to find a space.

Wimereux is a pretty little seaside town. The hotel is ideally located for the beach. It is on the main street that runs through Wimereux and whilst we visited at a busy period, the hotel was not noisy. We visited with our two children and had a spacious room at an affordable price. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff spoke enough English for us to communicate, with our limited French, and they made every effort to be helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable.

There was no dedicated car parking at the hotel and parking in nearby streets was difficult to find as we visited in August when the town was very busy with tourists. The breakfast was fairly pricey so we saved a lot of money by buying our own croissants and fresh fruit, which was delicious.
