Le Castel des Anges

Madame Jolie was an excellent host. The hotel was comfortable and excellent value for money. A return visit is a must. Breakfast was superb.

Period furniture, well decorated rooms, high ceilings, chateau like building, excellent friendly and helpful owner, excellent local restaurant 'a ma campagne' nearby. Free wi-fi. Allocated car parking.

Very clean, very friendly. Large room in an old Chateau. Wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed. Very good value for the money. Would stay here again!

The cleanliness of the bedding was poor.The top sheet was marked ,as was the duvet.This was also frayed and really needed replacing.Also the bathroom was in need of redecorating,

The owners were extremely charming and went out of their way to be helpful. The chateau has been renovated with care and artistic flair - it is a really splndid place to stay.

Everthing - upon arrival greeted with a cup of tea! Fantastic and charming host who was very helpful - even found us a restaurant to eat at night. What a place!! What a find we will definitely stay again

It was one of our best stays in France! A very friendly host and beautiful chambres for guests. Charming interior, free wi-fi and parking. Quite an ordinary continental breakfast but served in a very beautiful dining room by the host himself - a very nice man. I would definetely recommend the place for holidays outside the city in the real castle!

Hosts were great, warm and friendly, Chateaux is lovely, great nights sleep, breakfast was also very good. Was travelling through so only stayed one night to break the journey but will do so again, great value for money.

Like others I found the local resteraunts are unfortunately not always open, but my sat nav found one 1.8 miles away called auberge de mahot which was great

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The breakfast, delicious and beautifully presented. The room lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so generous and friendly. A definite stop again for us.

The friendliness of the hosts. The wonderful suite, especially the bath! The breakfast was wonderful.

A pity there is no restaurant at the hotel and the one in the village was shut ( however it was February) The hosts recommended one 10 minutes drive way which was wonderful food at cheap prices.

Amazing B&B with the loveliest owners, home made yoghurt and continental breakfast was lovely and the Castel is beautiful. There are angels everywhere and beautiful traditional rooms full of character and charm. This is an old house with occasional cracked paint which all contributes to overall feeling of being a guest in a château. Loved it and will definitely be back!

That we couldn't stay longer!

The hostess was lovely. She speaks little English and we speak about the same French, but all communications were successful. The house is gorgeous and makes you feel very romantic. Cherubs everywhere. The breakfast was very traditional but if you're a wheat intolerant individual then stay away. Beds and pillows perfect. Gardens and grounds beautiful. Secure car parking. But remember only cash. No credit cards.

There were a couple of minor issues with the room. But not enough to complain. Jucuzzi bath not working and no hanging space. Also door did not lock from inside. But I suppose it all added to the authentic atmosphere.

The proprietress was a very welcoming person and made me feel comfortable straight away. My room was beautiful and the furnishings were very nice. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented.

Charming hostess, delightful house. Stunning dining room for breakfast.Madame Joly was helpful, and provided fruit for my wife at breakfast as she is coeliac and cannot indulge in the beautiful pain au chocolate etc., Freshly made yogurt, and jam was also good.
