The staff ar extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble, our bed on the third floor in the rotunda suite was sloping and we was offered a choice immediately of two other rooms, unfortunately the double beds are two singles pushed together. Breakfast was nice, just continental, no cooked on offer but that was fine and a lovely choice. The free bar between 6 and 8 was a really nice touch, all the drinks including soft were known makes and nuts and a different plate of nibbles was given each night. Only a short walk to the shops. Apart from the bed, it was a very nice hotel although very small they have made the best of the limited space, if you are looking for a grand entrance and dining rooms then this is not a good choice, but for 3 to 4 days its fine. The old fashioned lift was charming to begin with but became quite tiresum after a while and eventually broke down.

The room, while small, was really sweetly furnished. Lovely luxurious white duvet and a very comfortable bed. The staff were really helpful and very nice. We arrived fairly late and they offered us a hot drink and then very kindly brought it to our room. I think if you are coming to Cannes for a beach holiday the hotel is not an ideal choice. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted it for ie an overnight stay but a beach holiday hotel it is not.

We had a Rotunda room with a balcony. The room was romantic and luxurious and we could smoke and have cocktails on the balcony. Staff was very solicitous and I gladly tipped generously.

Totally different from the package hotels - more character and the free bar was a nice touch! Reception - you couldn't like the girls if you tried, no warmth or personality from either of the people we dealt with!

Hotel had charm, staff was helpful and friendly, English was excellent, and we liked the open bar from 6:00 pm. The building was old but well maintained and the old elevator added to the charm. The location was perfect. The rates were reasonable.

Hotel has a very good location - 10 minutes walk from the Festival hall and city center. For that price the room could be cleaner and bigger. The hotel difenetely need slight re-novation.

The ease of access to the Croisette, the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the open bar- nice touch to the hotel the only thing that i would say i did not love about the hotel was the elevator. although it gives a classic touch to the hotel, its difficult to use and sometimes wont start!

Breakfast was great value at Euro10 per person and in the evening you could enjoy complimentary beverages from 6-9pm. Being only a short walk from the beach front it was easy access and the hotel was quiet. Really helpful and responsive staff. There is a bus stop across the road that takes you many places including the airport for Euro15. Would absolutely stay here again. The price is also a lot better than if you were staying on the promenade. Small issue with the drain in the shower recess but it was fixed during the stay.

Le Cavendish is a small but very comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was central to both the beaches and shopping areas. Very close to the train, which we used to travel to Monte Carlo for the day. We would definitely stay again. There was nothing not to like about Le Cavendish

The welcome on arrival after a long day travelling was fantastic. We were offered a seat and a drink before we checked in - great service. Other than some noise from the road, the hotel was very quiet and we weren't disturbed by other guests. It is a bit of a trek to the decent public beaches

The room was great that we get our own balcony, comfy beds and just the right size. The receptionist personally brought us to our room. And the hotel offer to borrow us beach towel if we need one.

If you stay here it is definitely worth paying a little bit more and staying in one of the "rotunda" rooms with the balcony over looking the Le Carnet, very cool indeed. Would stay again and defintely would recommend it to anyone.
