This is a lovely little hotel, not too big and not too small. It has a nice atmosphere and an excellent location right opposite the old town. Warm and comfortable, we'd definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and return because we like the staff, the locationof the hotel and it's proximity to friends whom we visit in Dinan. The pillows are too narrow for real comfort and the lighting in the room is not adequate to allow for reading.

The front reception was really friendly and helpful. I even received a complimentary breakfast! Location is very central and accessible into the historic old town. Rooms were welcoming and comfortable. Overall a really wonderful stay - I can see why it's such a popular hotel!

This is a classy hotel in the centre of Dinan, with the old city ramparts at the rear of the hotel. It faces the town square with all the sightseeing of the old streets 2mins away. Lots of bars and restaurants, boutiques and craft shops abound. Fabulous place for a weekend surrounded by history. Hotel deserves more than 2 stars, reception staff excellent, the lady and gentleman that looked after us served breakfast to us, as well as servicing the rooms as we left. Very comfortable, en- suite immaculate(with hair-drier) bonus to us ladies, tastefully decorated and airy. Breakfast was more than adequate with lots of variety. Would recommend this hotel with confidence. Just a small annoyance to anyone with mobility problems, on Wednesday evenings, the parking in the square opposite to the hotel is cleared in readiness for the market to set up on Thursday morning. If you cannot get a place outside the front of the hotel (pay to park) the car park at the rear of the castle museum has free parking. This could be difficult to negotiate the steps back up to street level with luggage, so be warned if your pins are not as good as they were! Also directions are not too clear for hotel, follow signs to castle museum and you won't miss it.

The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to speak enough England to be helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Angela (I think was her name) made us omelettes, with a cheerful Bonjour! Each morning. The location is a block from the historic part of Dinan and it's wall. It's possible to walk to the Old Port and bridge of Dinan from the hotel.

The hotel is in the older part of Dinan which has a wide choice of restaurants to choose from and is interesting to walk round. But primarily it is useful being only 30 minutes from St Malo if one is catching an early morning ferry to the uk. A bit pricey especially breakfast- for the same cost you can get two breakfasts on the Brittany ferry!

A very reasonable stay in an excellent location. Easy parking. Hotel staff a+++ There was no air conditioning and I was given a room on the main street. Fortunately they still had a room in the garden area. I had to pay a bit extra but it was worth the price since I was able to sleep with the window open..

The hotel is located right on the main square in Dinan. Parking is opposite - free after 6pm. We had a family room - large, and with two rooms and a separate bathroom. It was quiet, despite being on a main road. The staff were unfailingly welcoming. There is a restaurant next to the hotel which serves a good menu prix fixe. Otherwise, Dinan itself has many places to eat in the old town centre.

Room was a good size, and clean, although basic in its furnishings. Good size bathroom. Staff were polite and helpful and hotel provided an excellent breakfast for the price. Overall a good value 2 star hotel. Although the bathroom was large, the shower was abit tight and dark.

Excellent staff, lovely clean room. The only thing we did not like was the noise outside. Unfortunately, it was a really hot, Saturday evening. We had to keep the windows open and so it was incredibly noisy which stopped us sleeping. Air Conditioning would have been great.I was also quoted 7.50 Euros each for breakfast, but was charged 8.50 Euros

Excellent hotel in the old centre of Dinan with parking facilities opposite. Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful en suite bedroom worthy of a 4 star hotel and the best buffet breakfast we have had for some time. We will certainly return but for more than one night - we wished we had booked in for longer. We can thoroughly recommend without reservation this hotel to other travellers for its location - 30 minutes from Port of St Malo, price, quality of accommodation and friendly staff. Situation was great. The breakfast menu was extensive and good quality. We also had a delicious meal at the restaurant attached to the hotel which was also excellant value. Lack of private parking was a nuisance but would not stop us staying there again. A higher/thicker quality of toilet paper would be appreciated.

The location was very well suited to exploring Dinan, a really great medieval city. Room very, very quiet despite being on a busy street, thanks to top quality windows. Wooden shutters and thick drapes keep out all light if you wish. Bed much too hard for our tastes. Shower stall tiny and you must be in it to turn water on. Despite being told that staff would be present during certain hours at front desk, there was usually no one there, including when we wanted to check out. They did eventually return however. Parking can be a problem at this hotel , as you must use the public lot across the street, which is closed for market on certain days and full if it is a busy weekend or holiday.

Location was ideal - in the middle of old Dinan, convenient yet quiet. Staff were delightful and we had a lovely room with a balcony and a huge ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was fine - plenty of choice and cheerful staff in attendance. We would certainly stay there again.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Well situated in centre of beautiful, small mediaeval town. Continental breakfast was good with freshly cooked eggs to order if you wanted that. Staff friendly and helpful. We left a pair of Bose headphones in our room on our departure, and they were kept safely for us to collect the following week.
