Located in the heart of the medieval town of Kientzheim, the original architecture at this former convent has been successfully preserved to create a cozy hotel.

At the heart of the medieval village of Eguisheim, the Hostellerie du Château is on the Alsace wine route. It offers stylish individually decorated guest rooms.
Score from 230 reviews Excellent
Good location, and beautiful facility. Good service.
The Weinstube was awful. Terrible food.
the food of both restaurants and the attentive service and quality of rooms looking toward the vines
The hotel is beautiful, well placed in the town fantastic view of the vine yards. The meal in the 2* Michelin rest was great. There is also a nice pool and spa area. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom have a great shower system.
It was a pity that the Wifi did not work in the room. There is no TV Channels in English you would think this would possible.
Room, large and clean The (excellent) wine in the mini-bar The bikes borrowed to wander through the vineyards The spa to recover from a day of biking The Winstub restaurant is a must Location is great, from there you can explore Riquewihr, Colmar. One of Alsace's best wine maker is literally next door. Complimentary cake, water etc... nice little touch Staff is helpful and friendly Would definitely go back there and would advise anybody to go there (at least a couple of nights to fully enjoy!)
The decoration which sometimes looks like it's more a swinger's club Breakfast is slightly overpriced and the breakfast room isn't very nice (basement)
Everything! Lovely rooms. Very comfortable too. Great breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. A gem in Kaysersberg!
No English channels on TV.
Location to their restaurant
No effective WIFI in room and communal printer did not work.
Everything: room, view, spa, comfort. This was exactly what we were looking for to spend a weekend as a married couple away from kids.
Value for money: for such a tremendous amount of money, leisure facilities are not sufficient for everybody to take advantage from at the same time.
Funky interiors. Lovely bedroom. Superb location, amid the vineyards. Very friendly staff. And excellent food!
Wifi was a bit rubbish, but this did not bother us really.
The restaurants, the location, the helpful staff.
Nothing -- it was perfect!
The spa are got crowded.
Location, food at the Winstub
The noice from the kitchen's airco unit made it necessary to close the window
Location. Kayserberg is an outstandingly attractive village. Food delicious. Friendly staff, eventually.
Very strange decor. Very slow service in the second restaurant, I suspect because most staff are committed to the Michelin Starred restaurant.
We fell in love with Kaysersberg and the Chambard made our stay very memorable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was pricey but excellent quality and the food in both restaurants were amazing. One was a gourmet restaurant and the other served Alsatian cuisine. I believe it is the only hotel there with private parking. Will definitely go back to the Chambard.
No English movie channels!
Good facilities and gourmet restaurant.
Interior of public space of the hotel.
Once arrived they offered us a free upgrade to a suite: Jacuzzi and large shower ensuite, it had a very nice view on Kayserberg's main street. Maybe the view from other rooms (with little balconies) is even better (Schlossberg vineyards and the Castle). The dinner at the gourmet restaurant, despite of its quite strange interior design, was really delightful. Private parking and a quite small but very relaxing SPA
We did not try the breakfast service since 22 € pp is a definitely high price, independently of the quality (that we decided not to experience)
Winstub was good .
Too small pool ,narrow park space and rude attitude by restaurant staff.
Very friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff.
The fact that their were so many dogs at the hotel and in the restaurant for meals. I am an animal lover but do not want them with me on holiday.
The accommodation was luxurious, the surroundings were beautiful, and the restaurant served the best vegetable meal I have ever eaten!
Comfortable room with lovely view. We could have our dog with us. The food in the Winstub was excellent, as was the service. The location was really good. secure parking was valuable.
We felt that 25 Euros supplement for the dog was a bit steep.
Little details like a welcome drink and farewell present. Modern, spacious rooms. Beautiful swimming pool.
