The location was perfect for us, as we were attending a wedding at a nearby chateau. It was peaceful, very clean and staff were excellant. We think the only thing missing is a shower curtain in the bathroom.

It was close to lots of places of interest and apart from the bells at 8 o'clock in the morning, very quiet. Also access to the river and beach within walking distance. We had breakfast each morning, no complaints, but maybe to vary it a little, as we had the same for 4 days.

Lovely ambiance, very friendly staff, peaceful and quiet setting. Very comfortable bed, slept like a log. Breakfast included freshly squeezed juice and homemade jam and dinner was excellent too. A real little gem.

The staff were friendly. Our room was large. The breakfast room and breakfast were very good. Our room, above the restaurant, had paper thin walls and we could hear everything in the next room. The hall and stairs to the upstair rooms are very tired--cracked walls, railing pulled out of the wall, worn and ripped carpet. There were many sparrows nests and so many bird droppings that we couldn't use the outside balcony and had to be careful in the outside eating area.

The room, with balcony and lovely views over the countryside; the owners and waitress, who were very friendly and welcoming; the courtyard garden; the location, which was within easy reach of many of the interesting sites to visit in the Dordogne; the food, which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again. The en-suite bathroom was basic, but adequate.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Old world charm accomodation. Beautiful restaurant where we had an excellant evening meal. Lovely home made preserves. English spoken. Difficulty managing stairs with infants and luggage. Accomodation not really suilable for infants / toddlers elderly or medically compromised. No hanging space for clothes. Showering facilities not suitable for elderly.

We have stayed here before.. We like the hotel and the friendly atmosphere. It is very picturesque and in a good location. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. They are always on site and very willing to help. The new waitress, Camille, is a delight, happy and efficient. The chef cannot be faulted, he is really very, very good.In all, a very pleasant stay, we will certainly return.

Cet hôtel au cœur du Périgord Noir est plein de charme. L'accueil par les propriétaires est exceptionnel. Service et gentillesse ne sont pas seulement des mots mais caractérisent parfaitement l'accueil qui est donné dans cet établissement. De plus, bravo au chef du restaurant de l’hôtel : une excellente table. Un rapport qualité/prix inégalable !!! Juste un petit bémol : l’insonorisation entre les chambres est insuffisante.

Le Chambellan５人部屋を選んで大正解でした。部屋には独立した２部屋（シングル＋ダブルの部屋とダ- ブルの部屋）があり、広いシャワールーム＆洗面所と独立してお手洗いがありました。 とにかく広くて快適でした。シャワーはお湯もたっぷりでて気持ち良かったです。ベッドと枕はとても気持ち良- かったです。特筆すべきことは、こちらのレストランで夕食をいただきましたがどのお料理も大変美味しかった- です。鴨胸肉のローストは最高でした。とくに味付けにはミシュランがついているレストランとなんら変わらな- いむしろそれ以上に美味しく思えました。メニューはすべてフランス語でしたが、すべてを丁寧に英語で訳して- 説明してくださいました。１９時にレストランにはいり、２０時には満席でにぎわってました。半分は地元のお- 客様のようで、やはりここの味がおいしいという裏付けだと思います。レストランだけでもまた食べに行きたい- と思えるくらいに美味しいです。ぜひ、お試しください。朝食は食べなかったのでわかりません。BARに1回- 0.50€のバビーフットがあって子供は大喜びで遊んでました。ルフィニャック洞窟やラスコー洞窟やプルメイサ- ック鍾乳洞へ行かれるならこちらのホテルに２０分くらいで着けますよ。お勧めです。
