Le Chat Noir Design is located at the foot of the Montmartre district, just 165 ft from the Moulin Rouge. With the same name as the famous Chat Noir Cabaret, the hotel has contemporary décor with red and black tones. The beds were very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, good lift, plenty of hot water, good position for a variety of activities. We had a great week. Lack of good chairs in our room, one useless inflatable chair, one very high chair was all there was. Lack of a table, only a narrow shelf to put drinks, snacks on. No handles by bath to help getting in and out, we are elderly!

Rooms were well conceived with a modern décor and reasonably sized for a Paris hotel. The reception staff were friendly & breakfast had a good mix of healthy, continental buffet style food. The breakfast was good but overpriced at 15 euros for a buffet.

2Minutes distance from Blanche station. Enough space of room & nice bath room. There are many sex shop around the hotel. This hotel is not suitable for family travelers.

Great location in Montmartre, free wi-fi, ok service. THey say non-smoking but the room was so filled with smoke that we had to sleep with the window open and it was 2C outside! Hotel staff said they simply couldn't enforce the rules. Have stayed here in the past but rooms are looking warn and quite dirty, stains on the walls, toilette not clean, dirty mirrors and windows, didn't want to touch anything. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast is crazy expensive at 15 euros each! Won't be returning to this hotel. It is far too expensive for what it is, dirty and disappointing, there are better options in the area.

We had a lovely room with a balcony, overlooking Boulevard Clichy and with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The staff were very friendly and the room was kept very clean. We have stayed here before and love the area - Montmartre is gorgeous and the Boulevard Clichy is great fun - just minutes from the Moulin Rouge and full of sex shops and shows but completely non-threatening, just entertaining to be amongst. We enjoyed this hotel before but it was even better this time. We will come here again.

Very comfortable and large room, friendly staff.The hotel was very clean. The most comfortable duvets and pillows I have ever seen in the hotels. No fridge. It is not easy to take a taxi on Sunday morning. We had a 45-minutes wait for the taxi, because the girl at reception had forgotten to book our taxi transfer.

Le Chat Noir was a great place to stay! The room was great- super comfy beds, beautiful bathroom and wonderful amenities. The staff was amazing. Everyone was so ready to offer great advice about where to go and what to do. The location of the hotel may be strange for some as it is in the heart of the "sex" district, but we found it to be historic and fun- close to clubs and live music venues.

Good hotel, very clean and friendly staff with the best of walk in showers l have ever seen or used. The extreme noise from the bar/cafe below (even with the windows all closed) and goes on all night (until 4.30/5.00am in the morning).

The hotel was very clean and the room was large with a great bathroom. The staff was friendly and spoke English fairly well. The hotel was a short walk to the Moulon Rouge. The hop on bus was just across the street. I would recomend this hotel to adults as the area can be a little sketchy at night.

So beautiful! Great location not even 100m from the moulin rouge and from the room that we were in we had a full view of the eiffel tower! Staff were really helpful and our room was very big with a huge bathroom. If I were to go back to paris this is where I would stay again for sure! Nothing I loved it but if you have children remember that the street that it is on has a lot of sex shops and strip shows
