immaculately presented property and grounds. Beautiful decor and good quality food

I liked the location as it was easy to find

I did not like the fact that the price did not include the breakfast. We travel a lot and we do not think that the room justify the price.

Excellent value for money, nice breakfast and very good restaurant

Lovely Room with separate annex that proved ideal for the travel cot, and a separate lounge area next door so we could sit and read etc whilst baby was sleeping. Lovely grounds, our son particularly enjoyed seeing the goats and Ducks that live in the grounds. The food was simply exquisite. Marvellously presented and exceptionally tasty. Half board was wonderful, although a number of the dishes had supplements. Breakfast was a combination of traditional French, Scrambled eggs, cheese, pastries, cereals and fruit.

Staying at Le Chatellier but having the half board dinner at les duets florets (the restaurant linked to their other hotel about 100m away) as part of the half board, meant that we were unable to put our 19 month old to bed before eating, and he had to join us for dinner. Whilst this in itself wasn't an issue the earliest we could go or food was 7pm, and on average food took 1.5 hours for the 3 courses to come out. This often meant we were having to juggle a tired and grumpy toddler, whilst rushing our dinner so as to minimise the disruption to other guests in a lovely restaurant. Lovely hotel and restaurant, although they were very pleasant it's not really designed to be young child friendly.

Very difficult to find. We had to skip breakfast the day we left because we had to leave by 7am and they didn't start breakfast until 7:30.The room was on the second floor where the roof slanted and restricted the amount of space we could actually use. It was very easy to bump you head when getting out of bed on one side.

The hotel was a gem. Lovely old house and spotless. Stopped here on a cycling holiday and would definitely stay again.

The grounds of the hotel were superb and very restful. The room was clean and the hotel was decorated very tastefully. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly and efficient.

Although the room was tastefully decorated and we had an extra lounge area, ventilation was not good. This was OK for us in late May but could be a problem in the heat of the summer. Also, the restaurant was a disappointment for us. With no other options nearby (unless we were happy to drive), we were forced to eat in the hotel where prices were high for a fairly limited selection. Fine if you eat only seafood or heavily creamed meals.

The room was clean and comfortable - there is value for money.

While our room was very comfortable, we could not open the windows - we were located on the first floor with a bedroom and alcove - the alcove had a patio door that closed at night and the side windows didn't open. For our meals we had to go to another hotel that appeared to be the same owners

Quiet room and comfortable bed made this a relaxing place to stay away from town and traffic noise. We opted for a prestige room on the ground floor which has a conservatory style extension on the side. We were travelling with friends and this made a perfect sitting area for relaxing and sharing a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Sadly the restaurant was closed the night we stayed (Monday), although there were plenty of restaurants to choose from on the harbour. Unfortunately, this was a good 30 minute walk, partly on roads with no pavement, so we wouldn't have wanted to do this in the dark. Also, the walk back would be all uphill, so a car or taxi is probably a better option.

Manoir ayant beaucoup de charme, récemment restauré, au style romantique et moderne à la fois, avec de nombreux atouts comme la piscine et le jaccuzi et le restaurant gastronomique de qualité.

Le cadre et le design sont très sympas.

Un système d accueil qui permet sans doute d économiser du personnel mais qui n est pas du tout intuitif (la réception est à l'autre bout du domaine), le parking est trop petit (et si vous devez vous garer plus loin vos valises à roulettes s'enfonceront bien dans le gravier -ou la boue- du chemin). Pas d ascenseur pour des chambres au deuxième étage, un escalier étroit, un lit étroit avec un matelas très inconfortable (crevasse centrale), un réservoir à savon ne fonctionnant pas, une poubelle unique et minuscule et enfin une isolation acoustique trés limitée. Qui plus est le personnel qui vient présenter la chambre et déballer son petit laïus...trop long et inutile.
