Excellent position opposite the amphitheatre of Nimes, and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The receptionist spoke very good English and could not have been more helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel did not have a private car park although there was a multistorey nearby which was expensive at 13 euros for 24 hours. No Tea/coffee making facilities. |

Its central location. There was no telephone in the room, which cannot be appropriate for a hotel of this category. The reception area was frequently un-manned, and important messages left with the telephonist were not passed on. There was only one bedside light, which meant that the person on the other side of the bed could only have light by getting out of bed. There was a 1-metre locked (chipboard) box in our room with machinery in it which made a loud noise. When I complained about this and asked if we could change rooms (about 10.30 am), I was told all rooms were taken, although I knew that the rooms on either side of us had people in them who were gone by 2 pm. The price we were charged did not correspond to that in the room - which was about 10-15% less. |

The location of the hotel right next to the Arena was excellent, and gave easy access to the rest of the old part of Nimes. The style of room was a duplex, with bed on the upper level, sandstone wall and expose beams - impressive. Reception seemed to be locked more often than it was open. The room did not have any storage at all on the level where the bed was, and only a small clothes rail hanging from the underside of the stairs, and one shelf in a cupboard - obviously guests are not expected to bring clothes with them. The bathroom was equipped with shower, but nowhere to fix it to the wall more than 2 feet above the bath, or shower screen, so effectively no shower. The kitchen area had nothing to wash or dry any of the crockery, and judging by the state of the items on arrival, other guests had not washed them properly. Not good value for the money being charged. |

Excellent front desk staff. Elegant historic building with great location. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Air conditioning was erratic. No phone in room. Must ask for key to kitchenette. Beds on the second floor of junior suites — not convenient if disabled or opposed to climbing steps. |

The hotel was beautiful, impeccably clean, very modern design to the furnishings, but old world charm in the building as a whole. And I had a beautiful view out my window of the main attraction in Nimes, The Arena. I was charmed from the moment I entered and would definitely stay there again. Its not that I didn't like it, but it was a bit inconvenient to not have a phone in my room. I had to go find a pay phone in the city. It would be very inconvenient for a business traveller. Its even a safety issue to not be able to make contact with someone for example in case of a medical emergency during the night. |

The hotel is very well located in Nimes for site seeing and is close to restaurants. It was easy to maneuver around town from this location. |

Situación inmejorable delane del teatro romano de Nimes. Nuestra habitación en la tercera planta era un lujo, consistia en un dúplex, con una maravillosa vista sobre todo el teatro romano. Excelente acogida por parte del personal del hotel. Buenas instalaciones. Desayuno correcto |
