Friendly staff. Superb location, quite equipped, only few glasses missing. Restaurant is very nice, good wine selection, on saturday evening very popular and crowded.

Arrival by car was confusing. Follow Arena parking signs, or Rue du Bruxelles till the end. Only French TV.

Reception closed for half hour! I signed that if leave the kitchen uncleaned will be fined!

The dazzling location next to the Arena! fabulous historic building redesigned. Center of elegant city and next to best restaurant.

No loading/unloading area at all and no parking.

The hotel is well located in the centre pf Nimes. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. My room had a small kitchen with a fridge, practical if you stay for few days. The views from my rooms were super: the roman arena. around the corner tjere is a parking which can be very usefull in Nimes.

Althouh the rooms have been recently renovated, the finishings are not always perfectly done. Thre heating was not powerfull enough and I felt the cold of that winter night.

Location. Fantastic view from the window to the Arena!

staff attitude very rude un helpful , sofa beds not real beds very uncomfortable, room didnt get cleaned very regulary , was going to have breakfast but food eg bread was left out day after day aldy over night uncovered. shower broken, tv signal very poor cut out very frequently . no parking when booked we was advised parking was available

Location and period building

Staff were rude, internet wasn't working, there were no knobs on cupboard doors, no cloths or t towels in kitchen (we had to resort to wiping and drying with tissues and a t-shirt), kitchen bowls & plates were cracked and leaked. Under the bed was filthy as was the top of the wardrobe when I took my suitcase down, clouds of dust fell off. If it wasn't for the view and location we wd have left.

The location,and value for money, the view of the colluesum from the room was breathtaking.

Amazing . The resteraunt next door linked to the hotel is very good.

When I was told that you could see the old ruins from the hotel I thought they meant looking out of the window. The room was minamalistic - the so called kitchen - art nuvo - grease- the bathroom had no slip mats or shower curtains so unless your an olympic down hill skier I would not try and shower in the bath - I managed one foot in and one foot out - I think a scene like this Faulty Towers could not have imagined. The breakfast was - one slice of ham that had an expression I dare you to eat me. The breakfast selection being hard or soft bread - I asked the receptionist if someone had upset the cook and she replied that they did not have a cook - only a cleaning lady - and a resident piece of ham - I suggested. Parking in Nimes is a disaster one hour going around in circles to the amusement of the French.

The hotel corridor is too dark and it is difficult for us to find the button to switch on the lighting, and the water supply of shower is weak and not hot.

Location, minimalism

Location was great, walking distance from all the main sites in the city, and right in front of Les Arènes.

The hotel could benefit from some renovation; some parts of our room definitely needed some paint, work on humidity marks and fixing a broken socket.

Die zentrale Lage direkt am Rand der Altstadt mit Blick auf das Colosseum ist der bestechendst Vorteil des Hotels. Insofern sehr gut für einen Wochenendtrip zur Stadtbesichtigung etc. zu empfehlen. Preis/Leistung stimmen. Für reine Übernachtungen ist es völlig ausreichend ausgestattet, bequemen Aufenthalt tagsüber (bei schlechtem Wetter) bietet es weniger (keine entsprechende Möblierung). Es ist sauber, Bad und Toilette sind ausreichend ausgestattet, ebenso eine kleine Kitchenette. Die Fenster bieten guten Schallschutz. Reizvoll ist der Kontrast zwischen alter Bausubstanz und moderner Gestaltung. Es ist kein Luxusaufenthalt, aber für die genannten Zwecke völlig in Ordnung. Problematisch ist u.U.die Anfahrt mit dem Auto; man darf eigentlich dort nicht vorfahren (Busspuren), es geht aber trotzdem. Der Empfang ist sehr nett und freundlich.

Huge room for 4 people our son was very happy to have so huge space to play! Very good view on the Arenes! Located directly in the city center! Day before check-in personal called us to confirm what exact accomodation do we want.

Very minor - despite requirement to clean the mini kitchen there is no any sponge to clean, but that was not a problem.

Nice vieuw just in front of the Arena. The position of the hotel in the center of Nimes is ideal for a city trip.

Excellent central location within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and historical monuments. (Requested and was given room with view of Amphitheatre). Stylish decor, clean and spacious room with large, comfortable bed. En suite bathroom had a bath with shower attachment, hairdrier and shaving point. Toilet was separate and there was a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, two ring hob and basic kitchen equipment. There was also a small dining table and two dining chairs.

Only complaint would be the noise from street below when the window was open but a small inconvenience made up for by the view of the Ampitheatre

Close to the railway station and convenient for the City centre.

One member of staff on Reception having to answer incoming telephone calls and keeping visitors waiting!

Location close to train station and main attraction (arena) and shopping, breakfast was excellent.

Location was perfect for touring the Arena and city sites. Parking was very convenient.

Our room was spacious and let lots if light in; style pure lines in style without sacrificing comfort; VIEW ON THE ARENA WAS UNBEATABLE! Staff was friendly and helpful. Made for a very restful stop along a longer trip .

Booked this blind as a "crash pad" for 2 nights in the gap between a flight and a villa coming available but didn't realise that the balcony window of the appartment would look out over the Arene (World Heritage site - think Rome's colliseum but in better condition). Absolutely astonishing and a huge and very pleasant surprise. The hotel.appartment company don't make enough about this central and amazing location.

No dedicated on-site parking , but there is a VINCI underground about 200m away - about €16 a day. Nimes had chosen to reverse a whole load of one way streets the day we arrived so your sat-nav will be usefless to find it for a few weeks. Don't forget to hand in your room key every time you leave the building; it could be the language barrier, but the lady at the desk is a touch severe.
