The hotel was a gem well presented and reserved. excellent staff great location comfortable and fun. I would return there in a minute ! The hotel was closing for the year on that sunday.. We would have liked to stay on sunday night but this ifo was not available on the net. We actually called the hotel. We therefore adjusted our plans after several calls. the website could have advised us here |

the hotel was charming, comfortable with a pretty setting in a garden. the staff spoke English well and were very helpful. I would stay there again. We used it as a base to visit the Chateaux in the area. I requested 2 beds on the booking.com website but the room had 1 bed which we accepted but we didn't sleep well as a consequence. |

The friendliness of the hotel owners. The cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms. We stayed in a room with a garden view and were really happy with it and woukd recommend it without question to anyone considering a stay in the Loire Valley. We will certainly try and say there again. Absolutely nothing, we loved it. |

Beautiful, spacious room with period features, comfortable bed, very quiet location yet just round the corner from Amboise town centre and castle, beautiful garden-view from the room. Hotel car park is very small and it's open between 9am-9pm only, which can be a bit restrictive. However, there's a free public parking 2 mins from the hotel where one is likely to find available spaces around the clock. |

Close proximity to Amboise shopping, food and chateau. Free parking and free internet. Room rate was expensive and optional breakfast was very expensive at 11 Euros per person. |

Unlike the advertising photo, the hotel is 5 minutes from the castle and 8 minutes from the museum. That was good after the shock of not being out in the country side. The advertising photos have been greatly enhanced! The holel is shown in a wide open acreage. In fact it is two inches off the busy narrow street. Once inside the pictures are true. The enhanced photos should be removed from their advertising. |

We loved the ambiance of the hotel--very French, charming, quaint. The garden was beautiful, and again, seemed very French in style, which was just what we had come to France to see and experience. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The only thing we did not like about the hotel was that it did not have an elevator. It was not easy to carry heavy suitcases up to the second floor, although the fellow at the front desk helped us to carry some of them up. |

We liked the location-very convenient in the town but still quiet. The garden layout \, pool area etc was very pretty. The room furnishings were simple but the room had lots of character. Parking was fine for us but it could be a problem for late arrivals if the hotel was very busy. |

All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is only three minutes walk from the chateaux and the restaurant recommended by the hotelier was excellent. The garden and swimming pool offered a quiet refuge. With reference to comments made in previous posts about the parking - the character of the old building cannot be altered to accomodate larger vehicles, we didn't have a problem getting in and out of the gateway. This is not a complaint, but the free standing air-con unit detracted from the character of the room. |

Excellent hotel. Close the the city center. On-site parking. Free Swimming pool, Sauna (!). Very friendly people and the Patron himself. Good selection of 15 euro wines to drink before sleeping. Прекрасный отель, парковка, бассейн, сауна, приятный хозяин с набором вин за 15 евро... оч рекомендую, девушке понравится и это отразится на тебе :-)) Perhaps a more extensive breakfast (a la Ibis). Завтрак бы им получше, скудноват. |

This hotel is a beautiful old mansion with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our triple room was very spacious and very nicely updated and decorated. It's location is excellent for exploring the Chateau as well as the rest of the town. |

Based on a lovely old house with some rooms in the well blended in extension and outbuildings.Truly excellent location and spacious with outdoor pool, sauna and small gym . Beautiful and spacious grounds close to Cheateau d'Amboise . It is an ideal centre for the Loire Valley east of Tours. Very pleasant, clean, well and stylishly furnished and decorated rooms. |
