La ubicación y el jardin

La información de la página no advertía de que las habitaciones del segundo piso eran abuhardilladas y con el techo bajo, lo que las hacía incómodas. Pedí el cambio y nos bajaron al primer piso a una habitación que dijeron era una suite, aunque no lo parecía y nos indicaron que era de precio superior pero que no cargarían.

La ubicación y el encanto innegable del lugar, con sus jardines. Está a un paso de todos los lugares de interés en Amboise. Tiene ascensor y aparcamiento gratis, si llegas antes de que se llene. La decoración es bonita.

El precio me parece exagerado. No respondió a las expectativas creadas. La habitación abuhardillada era muy bonita de diseño, pero sumamente incómoda de utilizar. Del baño, mejor no hablar. Los señores tienen muy difícil utilizar el wc como acostumbran si tienen una altura normal y la bañera (no hay ducha) es inutilizable salvo que te sientes y el grifo es inalcanzable en este caso. Procurad que no os den una habitación con buhardilla.

La casa en sí, el jardín, la limpieza y su decoración son excelentes. Hotel muy tranquilo estando en el centro de la ciudad. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Está a media distancia para visitar los diversos castillos del Valle del Loira.

The room was not at all good .VERY SMALL ! And disappointing !

location and off street parking

Quaint French Inn near Amboise Chateau and within easy drive of other Loire Valley chateaus and vineyards.

Free parking was available but tight fit though narrow gate and difficult maneuvering when small parking area is full.

The location is excellent, a short wall to the centre of town. The room was clean and generally well appointed (though no tea making facilities).

We stayed in a standard room and it was quite small as was upstairs in the old converted stables. Car park is tiny and was difficult to fit all the residents cars in.

It is a beautiful building with gardens, pool etc. and a nice place to start exploring some of the chateaux around. Staff very vriendly. Great location

Lovely B&B centrally located in the charming town of Amboise in the Loire valley. Helpful, friendly staff, lovely accommodations.

Rooms were very nice, only improvement would be less firm mattresses.

The ambiance is superb. Friendly staff, outstanding location in Amboise, with great bistros and wine bars all within walking distance. This is well above a 3 star hotel - it may be small, but it's delightfully family run 4 star home from home. The living/dining room with open fireplace and comfortable seating is a great place to simply veg out and enjoy the day. Secure parking inside a locked courtyard. Swimming pool and gardens during the summer.

Location comfort and service in a well restored and decorated historic building.,

The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpfulwith our queries. The hotel was wellset outand quiet. The grounds were beautiful although due to the time of year we didn't use themmuch. Very close to the main town centre - 10 min walk to most places.

Our room wasbeside the breakfast room and there was noise when they were preparing in teh morning.

The location was excellent. Very polite and friendly staff ready to provide you with any information you may ask. The excellent ambiance in the breakfast room and equally nice during the evening with the fire place.

It was a bit of surprise that the parking area was not accessible after 2300. This means that if you come back to the hotel a bit late due to an extensive dinner or a drinking session in a bar you should find a parking in the nearby streets with the inconvenience to get up early in order to put money to the parking meter.

This is a charming hotel in the pretty town of Amboise. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. We stayed in a first floor room in the main house overlooking the garden which was spacious and very quiet. The sitting room is very welcoming, with view of the garden, log fire and is a lovely place to sit with a coffee or aperitif. very fresh and varied breakfast is served here too. The staff are very welcoming, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently placed to visit the castle of Amboise and Clos de Luce on foot, as well as the many small restaurants in the town, and an ideal base for exploring the chateaux and vineyards of the Loire Valley. Highly recommended.

There is nothing I did not like.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

A charming hotel with friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Lack of a resturant

Eveything. The friendly staff and warm welcome on arrival. The hotel exudes charm and old world elegance with its restored historic interior, exterior and romantic gardens. Facilities were first class and are a credit to its owners and staff. The close location to all restaurants and Amboise town centre and the on-site parking mean that walking to nearby attractions including restaurants in the evening is all too easy. In short, the place is wonderful and anyone who comes to Amboise or the Loire Valley for a relaxing stay or to explore the many attactions of this picturesque part of France should try to stay here.

It's a truly charming Hotel. Quite luxurious. Yet secluded and including beautiful gardens, behind walls, protected from the bustle of Amboise. 5 minute walk to the main square and several great restaurants.
