This hotel with a wine cellar is set in a garden in the heart of the vineyards of Champagne.
Score from 184 reviews Excellent
The stay was fantastic. Beautiful setting amongst the vineyards, the staff were incredible, breakfast top notch. Champagne on arrival! Only a short drive from Reims and the local village has a great bistrot. A really fantastic way to spend the weekend and buy some wine!
The price is very high. The quality is brilliant, but 230 euros a night is still pretty steep.
Very personal and friendly host Wonderful and original rooms Good beds Nicely designed interiors Good quality breakfast Parking on-site Connected to a champagne house
Missing soap and towel in the toilet.
Nespresso machine although a queue.
Dark small uncomfortable rooms, paint missing in chunks from the wall,no privacy as need the shutters open to see and can be then seen by everyone.
Parking in the courtyard and the quality of the rooms. Breakfast is very good. The champagne was fabulous.
If this hotel had a small restaurant or one next door then it would be perfect.
Staff were incredibly attentive whilst being discrete The decor was tasteful The hotel and room were immaculate
We visited in August when local restsurants were closed. Restaurants were in Reims but the estimated taxi fare was very expensive considering the close proximity.
Friendly staff. Pretty village. Tour of the champagne cellar and winery.
Poor lighting in bedroom. Open plan shower - bathroom floor got wet. Bathroom and toilet could be seen from street and house next door. Had to close wooden shutters for privacy to pee!
- Quit - personal approach - strongly guided tour - useful information about the area, food and activities - nice breakfast, the lighter type - professional pride and spirit is never far away - Top Champagne! A must for sensualists !!
Vigneron's house, dating from the 18C in a tiny village, superbly restored. Decor is a blend of period and ultramodern impeccably mixed. Owner Laurence went out of her way to arrange everything, including a picnic, and welcomes each guest personally at the front door. Overall a classy, romantic experience.
We may be behind on French manners, but the guestroom toilet could have used a door.
+ beautiful and very individual rooms + Laurence, the Hotel Manager, makes you feel very welcome and creates a Family-like athmosphere + only 5 rooms + 24h self-service bar with excellent "house Champagne" + very quiet (but in a vilage with only 150 habitants)
- rooms could be cleaner - prices are ok (but go elsewhere when looking for a cheap stay)
A welcome glass of champagne on arrival and very cleaver design.
Extremely friendly staff, very nice design hotel, very clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Superb location.
No doors to bathrooms.
Very friendly host, lovely location and relaxing atmosphere
Check in and out times were too late/early. Suggest they are reviewed.
The very personal welcome of the manager Laurence and the introduction to the guest house and the vineyard.
