Le parking fermé à l'intérieur de l'hôtel ; l'accueil à notre arrivée ; la chambre et la salle de bains bien équipées ; la chaleur des pièces et enfin le petit déjeuner.

Manque d'isolation des portes. Un peu bruyant le matin quand les touristes s'en vont.

L'accueil familial, le petit déjeuner est parfait et l’hôtel dispose d'un parking privé.

La chambre est un peu petite. c'est bien pour une nuit.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well furnished with good bathroom including shower. Breakfast was top class with fresh ingriedents and freshly cooked bacon and eggs. Secure parking was a bonus. We will be eturning next year.

Delightful hotel, just 10 minute walk from centre of Epernay. Very helpful manager who helped my wife carry her luggage to our room on top floor. Tasteful decorated room and well heated.

Baths towels that we were provided with were ancient and as absorbant as plastic wrapping.

The stay was characterized by an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.

Beautiful old house in the centre of Epernay.

We were encouraged to park our car in the courtyard for security but the yard was snowy and had not been gritted or salted. We had to leave early the next morning and had to dig our car out of the yard. Also Epernay was virtually closed for the winter. It is not a winter destination.

Decoration and art objects

My friend and I loved our stay at this hotel. It was one of the highlights of our trip to France. The rooms were very cute and extremely clean. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. They even drove my friend and I around the town to point out the key places we should visit while in Epernay and recommended amazing resturants for us to enjoy. We had a great time and would definitely stay at the hotel again if we were to visit the region.

I couldn't make any negative comments as everything was fantastic.

Great little character French hotel, spacious room with 4 poster bed. Very clean boutique hotel with bags of charm, excellent location very close ( a few minutes walk) to champagne houses & from centre of Epernay. Good breakfast, well worth the 15 euros per person. Secure off street parking in quiet location yet still very close to everything. Would highly recommend.

You need to brush up on your French as the owners are not fluent in English however not a problem & adds to charm of hotel. There is no shower curtain across bath so need to be careful with shower attachment although again this is not an issue.

Charming and French

Beautiful building and excellent rooms. The street it is on is a little bare and deserted, but only 5 mins walk takes you to centre of Epernay.

It was a lovely hotel with a very friendly and professional staff. The attention to detail in all aspects was very impressive

There wasn't the option to make tea / coffee in the room. You could ask for tea / coffee to be served in the lounge but this was only available up until a certaitimen

We loved the style of the hotel, a beautiful Renaissance house with an art deco interior that takes you back in time. It's quite near the town for the able-bodied, and if we had been on our own walking in would not have been a problem at all. We had my elderly mother with us so we had to drive into the centre for dinner. It's very near all the champagne houses too for those wanting to visit the caves.

I personally think that for the cost of the room breakfast should be included in the price.

Small room, twin beds rather than double

Friendly staff. Hotel was located within a private setting but very close to the centre of Epernay. Easy walk into the town to restaurants etc. The room was very well presented and the hotel was different to the 'run of the mill' types that you would normally stay in.

The shower over the bath. No curtain or screen, so the water went everywhere. The bed wasn't too bad but both of us woke up each morning with a backache.

It was superb - location, welcome, hospitality, friendly & helptul staff. A dream to stay in the garden of Moet and Chandon's Maison de Champagne. The Rough Guide's comment about this hotel in Epernay is absolutely right ... it is ' the classiest of all in town ...'

Everything about Hotel Le Clos Raymi was excellent. The place is run by an old lady and (i believe her daughter) another lady. Due to weather conditions we got there at 10pm and had only booked into the hotel via booking.com an hour earlier since we had not decided where we would be spending the night. On arriving, with a little hesitation she let us in; and then explained that checkin closes at 7pm. She also mentioned that she was in bed at that hour and that the whole town is practical asleep by 9pm. She was so kind enough to let us in and sort out the necessary paperwork the morning after. The room was pristine and had a very classic appeal to it. It had lovely fragrances running through and through. She was definitely in her mid 70's if not older, but despite that she even offered to carry our luggage to our room. The morning after, the other lady- Valerie, was super kind enough to make a few calls and help us out with our wine tasting as well :) all in all it was excellent!

The hotel is an unique experience with wonderful atmosphere and ambience. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The rooms, we stayed on two separate nights, were well furnished and quirky. We enjoyed so much the first night on our return journey we booked to stay again. The breakfast is wonderful and one we will always remember. The owner of the hotel wished that we would return again and to be honest we probably will.

The walk to the town although short is not particularly picturesque, nothing else.

Charming hosts, great location for the Moet Caves and town centre. Cool rooms away from the heat of the french sun. Lovely breakfast area on the garden terrace. JSmith, Cambridge, England

No reading light by the bed. Floor lamp didn't work. Had to unplug the only working light in the room in order to plug in my computer.
