Breakfast was good but a little expensive
a traditional French town house, artistically decorated and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and excellent breakfast. I would stay again.
The house was beautifully decorated with interesting, unique items in the halls, rooms and in the "living room". The garden was nice. Secure parking in the garden behind locked gate.
The bed was meant for one person, not two.
We are from Australia and were given the ''Colonial" room - good to see our host has a sense of humor. The room was tastefully decorated. Loved the ease of parking on the premises. Easy to access after hours - getting back late from dinner.
WiFi - horrific. We used WiFi each day of our trip to plot what/where we would go/do each day. This WiFi was next to useless! Breakfast too expensive for what you get. Had to take bath as was not possible to use shower - it would have flooded the whole room - no shower curtin.
Shower Beds Pillows Quiet Breakfast Eclectic décor Location Powerful hair dryer
WiFi didn't work
Own parking and easy walk to centre. Quiet. Tasteful interior and rooms.
EUR 18 for breakfast is OTT
Stunning building, literally a stones throw from Moet & Chandon. The decor was fabulous and the breakfast was delicious.
A little pricey but I would go back for a special treat
The looks/architecture of the building. The wonderful breakfast.
The bed quality and the room size..
Proximity to Epernay Champagne houses Off-street parking, Helpful staff, magnificant breakfasts For anyone visiting Champagne a stay here is a must.
We were sorry to leave
The secure easily accessible carpark, the mansion style home. & quiet surroundings easy walk to attractions around town.
Internet not simple to get on.
Hotel Clos Raymi is a small boutique establishment tucked away in the backstreets of Epernay within easy walking distance of the town centre. It oozes personality and charm....as does Valerie and her colleague. Our room - Toscane - was beautifully appointed including a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
An establishment proves its worth when "things" go wrong. Unfortunately our two night booking was only registered as being one night. Valerie arranged accommodation at another venue for the second night, transported our luggage there while we were on a tour and paid the new establishment the difference as she ensured we had an upgraded room .....now that is service! Nonetheless Hotel Clos Raymi was so delightful we would have rather stayed there for the 2 nights.
Distance from town center.
Location Grounds and furnishings were beautiful.
We were charged for breakfast even though we did not have it and we advised the owner the previous night that we were cancelling it which she agreed to it. Room was hot, no air conditioning.
Very clean room with a comfortable bed and great shower, also free parking
No tea/coffee facilities, and no bar to have a drink and relax in, although there was a lounge
Expensive breakfast, intermittent wifi
Position Welcome Breakfast Quiet Bath (rather than shower!)
No chairs in the bedroom. No information about local restaurants. 'Double' bed was in fact two singles put together.
Quiet location and easy to park in their grounds.
At 18 euros each breakfast was overpriced compared to other hotels.
Lovely house with beautiful garden. Close to city centre. Safe parking in grounds.
The Façade of the Hotel on arrival is wow. A safe private Car Park. The room bed room was amazing. The décor of the hotel is brilliant. The breakfast was wonderful and the Staff are so friendly and helpful.
Beautiful old building and I liked the decor in the public areas inside and outside. Peaceful.
Stayed at Champagne Room. It was not a grand room as I had hoped in fact quite small and they had partioned part to be the bathroom which destroyed the overall appeal of the room. Bed very comfortable though.
Attractive and characterful small chateau style bed and breakfast hotel close to the centre of Epernay. Each of the bedrooms is distinctively and very imaginably decorated as are the bathrooms. The facilities are very good and parking outside the house is very secure with a gate to the street closed at night but openable by guests. Breakfast is very good including a good range of cold and some hot options and served in an attractive small dining room overlooking a quiet and green courtyard. We have stayed in the Le Clos Raymi three times and have always had a good experience.
Beautiful house, lovely breakfast, pleasant staff, easy walk into Epernay
Not great VfM was a bit pricey; communal rooms in the house locked down early evening
Location and secure parking
Excellent location in terms of closeness to the town although not the best part. Typical small French chateau with adequate parking. Not plush but sufficient. Owners have a liking for object d'art. Themed rooms and we stayed in Provencale. Coffee/tea making facilities would have been nice in the rooms. We did not have breakfast as 18 euros each was expensive. Town centre within easy reach as was the champagne houses.
No tea and coffee making facilities. The toilet separate from shower but no hand basin. Felt it was a little expensive for what it was, but would stay again.
