Hôtel Le Clos Roussillon    

The hotel was very clean and comfortable in a very nice location. Our hosts were very welcoming, and we felt like we were a part of the family. The balcony area was a nice place to relax with a drink after a day of sight seeing. The hotel was close enough to tourist locations but far enough away to be away from crowds, if you have a car.

The hotel is central to places of interest, there are many resteraunts in the area offering good food in lovely locations. The breakfast was a bit expensive but their was a good choice and the dining room looked onto the terrace. We really liked the bathroom facilities,the kitchenette and the terrace off the bedroom where we could relax in private.

The bed was uncomfortable quite hard really, and the corridor outside our room smelt damp.

It was in a splendid location and was in a very attractive setting.

The lack of a restaurant - though the one recommended by the very helpful management was only a couple of Km away and was excellent.

Very friendly and very helpful. The location was great and the view out over the valley was picturesque. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of healthy foods. Would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel with a comfortable bed and excellent view of its rural setting. The building is fairly new and well maintained. It is central to all the sites in this very beautiful region, the Dordogne River Valley.

The friendly welcome (in English) and the situation in large grounds and convenient for the whole Dordogne region. The swimming pool for relaxation after a long drive. Good power shower (although no bath).

No restaurant facilities which means having to go out again after a long day of driving. Heavy condensation on the single-glazed windows.

This hotel is located close to many of the Dordogne's places of special interest. It's efficiently run by helpful staff and is very good value for money. I particularly appreciated the tea making facilities in the room and seating areas outside the hotel.

Only suitable for those with a vehicle, particularly if visiting Sarlat.

The location which was very central for our needs. The swimming pool which was clean spacious and well equipped. The room which was again spacious and had a lovely shower, tv and air conditioning. The view from our room which looked upon rolling hills and beautiful countryside. The staff which were extremely helpful at all times. We can definitely recommend this hotel to others The Hotel is ideal for couples that want to chill and have a quiet relaxing time, however a car or bicycle is essential. It is close to the River Dordogne and the river sports and there are some lovely restaurants within a ten minute drive. Good for a family with young children and mature adults. Loved our stay

This hotel is set in a quiet location and a car is essential. For people that want to have a rave and make a noise just stay away.

L'hôtel est très agréable, dans un joli parc arboré et bien situé pour visiter le Périgord noir. Très jolie vue de Domme et ses environs au moment du petit déjeuner. Les propriéraires sont sympathiques et donnent des renseignements sur leur région.
