Helpful and attentive hosts 200 years old house nicely kept Pleasant breakfasts with view to the garden Quiet charming Seine bank near by Starting point to various interesting day trips
Characterful accommodation. Host provided tickets to Monet's Garden which saved hours of queuing. They recommended excellent places to eat and places to visit which were not on tourist trail. Highly recommend.
Nothing. Every thing was great.
The house and gardens were quite magical and the owner couple completely charming
It was all simply lovely but because the house was very old the wifi didn't work very well.
Lovely, patient owners. We turned up too late, we checked out too late but didn't get a single grimace. Was such a pleasure to chat to them. Great old house with a stunning garden, good location ie next door village to Monet's house, inclusive breakfast served either in the garden or lovely glassed windowed gazebo. Even though it's a B&B, credit card payments are accepted. We loved our stay there, will recommend it wholeheartedly.
The Close is a fantastic place to be: quiet, inspirating, tasteful. The reconversion is a full success, the rooms are very comfortable. The owners are very caring and friendly, made recommendations which we were glad to have followed. We felt like being with friends. We would always go back!
Absolutely nothing to criticize !
Wow, what a lovely place. We only stayed for one night on our way back from the Dordogne, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The owners were delightful and recommended a really nice restaurant, Le Bistro in nearby Vernon. The food was delicious! Breakfast was lovely and taken in the conservatory. The room was very quaint and comfy. We felt really at home.
Can't think of anything.
Francoise and Patrick are such wonderful hosts, accomodating us perfectly, pointing out the path to the Seine. They are knowledgable about the area, Giverny and Miner's Garden of course and Paris also. When I forgot a favourite shirt in the wardrobe, Francoise brought it to our rented flat in Paris. How perfect! We hope to return as soon as we can.
There was nothing to not like!
Francoise and Patrick are warm and welcoming hosts. Their garden and pets are lovely. The breakfast room is in beautiful French style.
The bed was not comfortable, very saggy. The tea and coffee making facillities were very minimal at best. We were a bit shocked to be charged 10 euro for a load of washing that would have cost 6 in a laundromat and it was not properly dry. Wifi was only available in the sitting room.
Patrick & Francoise were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast room--beautiful. Breakfast--good selection & plentiful. Ground floor room--lovely & very comfortable with a large bathroom.
once through the gate we stepped into another world...and loved everything. I have seldom been so lost for words as I was when we were shown around; simply stunning. The owners are two of the best and should be complimented on their attention to detail; our only regret is we didn't have time to stay longer. My advice to anyone thinking about staying is ...stop thinking and start staying.
Everything was great. Patrick and Francoise are so kind. They call to some restaurants to get a reservation for us. We enjoyed it.The room is sweet and confortable.Especialy the garden! My husband , my dog and I were so happy.
I couldn't use wifi but it is because my PC.
