Very helpful proprietors. Warm welcome good food, nothing was too much trouble
the staff was really nice, and there was a bus station near the hotel. The rooms are big and confortable.
The heating in the room did not work, but they gave us extra blankets, and with them the night was confortable. There is only one toilet and one shower, but as there are no many rooms it's not difficult to use them.
The staff was excellent, and the meals were inexpensive and good quality. there is free parking right next to the hotel
Good location Great value when travelling with children Large Room Little court yard to safeguard our bikes Restaurant/Bar with French home cooking
We stayed here for one night and it was pretty good. The room was clean, not big, but enough for 2 people.however because it's a 20 min walk to town centre, maybe next time will stay somewhere closer.
Distance to town
Good Location for the ferries to the Cannel Islands, not quite as good for the Old City. I had a room out the back so it was quiet.
Excellent friendly staff Very clean and tidy Value for money evening menu Convenient location for the ferry port
A 20 minute walk to the ferry past many tasty bakers. Very friendly host who made a lovely kir royale. Quickest wifi of any place I went to.
The stairs were a little noisy.
Good sized clean room with fresh smelling linen. Good value for money for St Malo. Friendly helpful staff.
Friendly & clean traditional French hotel
The hotel was easy to find. The proprietor was very pleasant. As a family of 4 we stayed in the fanily room, which was very spacious with a double and 2 single beds. It was a 30-40 minute walk to the walled city and we easily found a bus to come back. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the bar the next morning. The hotel was perfect for a family stopover before the morning ferry back.
I liked everything!
v friendly staff,excellent 4 course dinner 4 about £10
we didn't realize the douche and toilet were outside the room,it was a late booking made whilst travelling so own fault .
Very easy to find. Only 5 minutes from centre of town and ferry port.
Very very small toilet and shower room. A very basic room. The evening we were there the bar and restaurant were closed by 8.30pm.
Powerful shower, comfortable bed, good breakfast
Lot of traffic noise, no private parking, lots of noisy locals in the early hours of the morning that kept us awake, bathroom small
If you want a clean room and not to pay so much it is ok.
Extremely friendly proprietor; good traditional food.
A little far from the centre, but not a great problem.
The beds were comfy and the room was scrupulously clean. The owners were very helpful, friendly and attentive.
Noisy location but we did know it was on a main road!
It was clean and the proprietor was friendly enough.
Despite being a Cocktail bar and restauraunt when we arrived about 8.30pm the bar was closed and there was no food to be had. I do think that at least a facility to make a hot drink would have been better. Perhaps the opportunity to buy a sandwich etc. Would not book here again.
It was on the correct side of town for leaving the port and heading out towards Rennes. Parking outside on main road. Clean and large enough room.
Because of the intersection just outside, traffic junction noise made us shut the window, the room became too airless and hot for a comfortable night's sleep.
Stayed one night before the ferry. We arrived very late which wasnt a problem. Friendly staff. Room spasious, clean. Brill as a stop over!
No air conditioning and due to it's location road noise when windows are open. Saying that, for 1 night not a problem.
Price, staff very nice (I received a map for half a day).
Not very close to the city centre, old furniture.
Pretty basic but then so was the price.
excellent value for money spacious clean room
Nice and cosy hotel. Nice personnel. Breakfast was good.
Bathroom+toilet is very small. No enough space to go to shower.
The hotel is close to the city centre of St Malo. The rooms are simple but really nice, all you need is there. And the staff was very helpful and friendly at any time. Good choice! Merci!
