A friendly and welcoming hotel, and reasonably priced in relation to others that I looked at on the internet. Its big drawback is that a main-line railway passes 10-15 metres in front of the hotel, busy during the day with high-speed trains rushing by. Despite double-glazing, the daytime and evening noise is horrific. But to my pleasant surprise I in fact slept soundly - apparently there are no trains on the line between 12.30 A.M. and 6.00, presumably those being local trains running slowly and quietly.

Near to city centre Too close to railway. Wi-fi didn't work in room, only in foyer. Parking expensive. Evening staff abrupt and not particularly welcoming.

I liked the buffet breakfast, except for the coffee, which was awful. This hotel advertised itself as having been totally renovated. Not true. They said the rooms had air conditioning. Not true for our room. They said it had private parking. Not true. After ten at night, the desk person also had the responsibility for the disco next door. Lots of questionable characters outside the hotel late at night and early in the morning. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were gross.

Good location, walking distance to old town. Breakfast buffet was good. We had room with balcony facing the trains and it was not a problem. There are double windows/doors and as long as they are closed the trains won't bother you. Hotel is a bit worn down. Very basic interior, small old bed. Hotel is 2 star which is ok, don't expect more!

The location between railway-station a The location between the railway-station and the historic city (both walkway distance) is perfect. It helps, if you are a railway-fan (as me) because you can count the passing trains the whole night as there is besides fast tgv also a lot of freight trains - guests should be warned about that. For me it was fun to distinguish just from the noise the different types od trains ...

The room was clean and had a bathtub. It was also fairly close to the train station. Tough the room was clean the hallways of the hotel are terrible. There are no lights, they are dirty and just all around not somewhere I would ever go again. The wifi sucked and when I asked about it not working all I got was a shoulder shrug from the hotel staff. The breakfast was way overpriced and it was also horrible. There was only old stale cereal, eggs you boiled yourself and stale bread. It is the worst hotel I have seen in europe.

Good location - just 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. Nice staff and the room is decent. For those room facing the train track, it is noisy if you open the window.

I like responsive and friendly staff, which helped us to solve all our problems. The buffet breakfasts were really tasty. It's a good value for it's money. I think some rooms can be a little noisy because the hotel is located near the railway, but we were lucky: our room overlooked the courtyard.

Coffee in large bowls for breakfast! Arriving was difficult - our room wasn't ready until 6.30pm. But we got a free cup of coffee while we waited. We had thought that the train noise would be obtrusive, but really it wasn't, considering how close the hotel is to the station and the main line.

The hotel had easy street parking and was a short pleasant walk to the city center. The breakfast was nice as well. Would like more confirmation about parking since the lot was full once we got there, fortunately we were able to park on the street. Rooms are directly acroos the street from the train tracks, so the trains at night were a bit loud.

Very good quality for the cost. Decent location. Great price. Got the "bath" option, but would've preferred the "shower" option. Can't complain though, because it was pretty much the only available room in the whole city!

It was a good deal for the price. Breakfast was adequate. The receptionists were friendly and spoke English and French. The train tracks are across the street, so every time a train goes by it sounds like someone turned on an air conditioner. However, the trains cease from around 23:00 to 6:00, so it is possible to get decent sleep.

Tout s'est très bien déroulé; la double fenêtre isole bien du bruit des trains. Chambre propre, équipement tout à fait correct. Ayant lu quelques commentaires très négatifs, j'ai été agréablement surpris.
