Close to Hbf
the price is ok, location close to the train station an within walking distance to the center. Bed is quite comfortable.
Lack of soundproof in the rooms. While I was staying, I heard drunk man walking around all the corridors singing and shouting, plus I also heard what guests stayed in the next room doing, its really annoying. Need better soundproof.
proximity to main interest points: railroad, bus and taxi station, rental agencies, historical city center a.s.o. Very kind straff, very clean room although modest, fair breakfast (more alsatian than french)
the only 3 foreign TV channels (RAI, CNN, Pro Sieben) running worst than any of the other 12-13 french ones. Room heating not enough
great city at Christmas time!
damp room, unfriendly location
Good location close to gare SNCF and city center
Can be loud when train passes by. Breakfast was good but a bit expensive for what it is
Near to the train station
I had a room it was a kind of "waiting room" for emergency cases, so I slept with a green light in front of me (the exit sign). Hotel just in front of train tracks, so very noisy. The curtain was broken.
I thought the location to the train station and the town center was good
However the WIFI didn't work during my stay and the room wasn't very nice considering how much I spent to stay there.
Nice Hotel. Close to the train station, close to the city center. Clean, nice shower. Nice staff. Nice wifi.
Breakfast you have to pay a part and is 8 euro.
Close to station. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean.
I could smell stale smoke on the bedding - not the sheets but more ingrained. I wasn't aware of a choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms. I would have wanted a non-smoking one. Very close to train lines - very noisy when train passed.
good location to walk to the city center and ok price
the receptionist spoke little english, room little compact, not much space
- possibility for free bike storage - kind staff - near city center and main station
- nothing for people with light sleep as next to the railtracks as well
Location was convienent to town, train, and a laundromat!
Quite clean & you can buy a beer at the reception
Old-fashioned bathroom - in a bad way. Trains going fast and loud by the window.
Good location, very close to the station and good proximity to the historical centre of Colmar. Staff very attentive and friendly and a very comfortable bed. Room was basic but spacious. Parking and breakfast available at a reasonable extra charge. It offers value for money for a short 2-3 nights stay.
The hotel is right in front of the rail tracks and it can become noisy in the morning when trains start running. Bathroom is dated and a bit of smell coming from the drains. Soundproofing is bad as we could hear next door travelers.no facilities for a coffee or tea in the room.
The duvet! It was so thick and soft and warm- usually at cheaper hotels like this you'll just get a thin quilt. Weird thing to focus on, I know, but it made a difference. Great location, wifi was strong, there was space to hang your clothes and the bathroom was spacious. All in all I got excellent value for money.
The pillows were a bit weird- square shaped pillows? Only a minor gripe but I did wake up once or twice, having fallen off the edge. Yeah, you could hear the trains, but it's really not as bad as everyone on here has been making out. Anyone who complains about this nice little spot has never had to stay in a hostel.
For me being a train traveller, it was very convenient. Yes it was basic, you heard the trains and it is located about a 10 min walk from the Old Town, but for the price it is a very good deal. Breakfast was very good for the price.
close to train station
wifi signal is unstable and slow
Rooms very cramped, shower was only a handheld over bath...no curtain or anything, air conditioning was like a train coming through the room every 15 minutes, plastic covers on beds very uncomfortable, staff very rude and preoccupied, light fittings not working, overall would not recommend anyone to stay here.
I ordered NON-smoking room. But the bedcover of my room was a little scorched with cigarettes. My room has no air-conditioning. So I opened the window to take flesh air. But when a train passed on the rail road track near the hotel , I realized my room was So So So noisy. I couldn't sleep during night! TV doesn't work at all. I've stayed 2 nights individually. Both of the days I didn't sleep at all.
There was a big super marcket colse to this hotel.
At any rate NOISY! A little far from Colmar st.
close proximity to town.
we got rooms on the train side - but double glazing and ear stops worked wonders!
Wifi Comfortable beds Close to train station
Dirty room, fingernails on the floor, chewing gum on a/c unit, dirty window frames, dirty a/c unit, a/c unit 1st day too loud to sleep 2nd day not working at all, club with loud music in the basement.
We liked the location, the bedroom and the wifi speed. The reception were helpful in looking after our bags for the day (after check out) whilst we went around the town.
The staff didn't speak much english and you could hear a few trains from our room, but thats to be expected when its so close to the Train station.
