Outstanding location, great and very helpful staff, good breakfast
The friendly helpful owner, the spacious room, value for money.
Sometimes it felt a bit far from Rocamadour, especially after walking up and down the Chemin de Croix, and the Grand Escalier!
very friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to provide an excellent service. very clean and comfortable and brilliant private terrace. No room for a fridge but constantly changed ice packs for coolbox. Gave lots of useful information about visiting the area and would book restaurants and attractions for you.
Excelent location Very freindly and helpfull managers and staff Clean place Good breakfast
Wireless Service was mostly down
Nothing at all
Female receptionist on duty on our arrival very good, spoke very good English, thorough, knowledgeable & helpful, offered Wifi access without prompting.
Ditto another reviewer, yes a small bar area would be lovely.
We loved Rocamadour. It is a must to visit this amazing little town if you are in the area. The staff were very friendly and gave us an itinerary and spots and restaurants to check out. The hotel was very comfy and cosy, a real French feel. We had a lovely little terrace outside our room as well.
The hotel was very nicely located. I think it's ideal to be in L'Hospitalet and walk the traditional pilgrim path into Rocamadour, there is easy parking, and a very nice little supermarket right next door where you can buy fresh bread and regional specialities. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and one of them was a triple with a very large attractive terrace. There was an issue with the wifi which the owner was very helpful in sorting out.
Very friendly and helpful manager. Parking outside the hotel. Away from the heat and bustle of Rocamadour's main street yet an enjoyable walk around the main sites of the village. Several bars and restaurants with amazing views of Rocamadour. Just right for our over night stop en route North.
The manager was very helpful
Great locations for restaurants and walkkng to the village. Staff very friemdly and informative
The room was great We had one with an outside deck
Breakfast was an extra which I thought was included
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, clean, and with a new air-condition (necessary for the hot days during our stay). The location of the hotel is very convenient (in a walking distance from the old village, as well as from several restaurants).
Staff were helpful
Friendly and helpful staff
This hotel was mediocre. It was a half step up from a hostel. The room was clean. The shower pressure was good. The air conditioning worked well.
The owner was really quirky with lots of frenetic energy. The room was very bare. The floor was rock hard concrete with the thinest rug over it. The breakfast at 8.50 a person was highway robbery, particularly since its coffee was so bad. Skip out on breakfast and stop by next door in the little grocery where you can buy cheese, bread, yogurt, jam, croissants all at a fraction of the price. Our view was over an RV park, and I don't think the other rooms had a better view. However, if you're looking for a room for just 50 euro, this will do the trick.
Anne and Mathieu, the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us find new areas to visit, new restaurants to try and were always eager to please. The hotel is very well located, very clean and breakfast is really good for the price! We were very pleased with our stay.
Nothing to complain about. Everything positive about this hotel.
Pillows were terrible
An excellent budget hotel in a beautiful town. Excellent hosts: very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable (eg suggested places to visit and eat - even booked us into a restaurant on mother's day!). Comfortable room with a huge balcony (we booked a 3 person room for 2 people - worth the extra). Good breakfast
WiFi a little bit unreliable (but free and we could do what we wanted with perseverance)
Very helpful and accommodating staff.
The owner/manage couple were not only excellent but the best hosts possible. They helped so much, even because my baggage was lost and they kept calling for me. The room was the largest in France, and the terrace was so enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. Its very quiet even though on a busy street. The walls were thick, I never heard other guests. The exterior shutter comes down and blocks light and noise, too. Its outside the village, just barely, so location is perfect surrounded by other restaurants and attractions. Village center is too crowded and busy to be enjoyable, but is a short walk away down hill. :)
Absolutely nothing was amiss. I loved this hotel.
Staff very welcoming and even carried our bag upstairs.
Room was very small and we paid extra for a terrace which was furnished very poorly.
Good location, fair price. No refrigerator in the room. Queen size comfortable bed. Recently refurbished.
Very slow internet connection.
Handy for walk down to Rocamodor.
Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the location was ideal for visiting Rocamadour. We would have liked to stay longer.
