Comfortable, clean, easy to park. Close to shops and restaurants.
Room was directly above a mini mart, which meant some noise from the early morning delivery.
Rocamador is a must see Middle Ages fortress, with a cathedral that hosts one of the Black Madonas very sacred to French Christians, hotel was great at top of a two hour walk down to the bottom then back, Owners where great and helpful, break fast was excellent, highly recommend this place
Excellent breakfast, plenty of variety. Lovely location, good restaurants nearby especially the Brasserie, the food was superb.
Kindness of the owner.
the location friendliness and helpfulness of staff value for money
Lovely location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and beds.Easy to get to nearby restaurants and good choice.
I am partially disabled and didn't realise rooms were all upstairs. My fault as I didn't mention that on booking.
The room was spacious for 3 people with a large terrace and had chairs for relaxing an umbrella and a table and upright chairs if you wanted to picnic. The bed was particularly comfortable with lots of pillows, air-conditioning and was kept very clean. There was a mini-mart next door which was very convenient. Staff were very helpful.
Very easily located. A really friendly and helpful welcome.Spotless and bright / comfortable room.Great position at top of town. Great recommendation to Belvedere restaurant opposite( what a view...and the food...!). Excellent breakfast with local produce. Highly recommend.
Can't fault it!
נוח ביותר מנהל המלון שכנראה גם הבעלים מאוד ידידותי ועוזר
Nice and clean. Very friendly family run hotel with all kind of information for travellers. Perfect location.
Bang in the centre of things. Young lady on reception (owner I think) was brilliant, excellent English, took time to explain everything Rocamadour has to offer. Also recommended restaurant almost opposite (The Belvedere) which was also very good.
Bedroom was a good size and had a small terrace. There were blinds at the windows which made sleep easier! the breakfast was good - as French breakfasts go! the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Wonderful views overlooking Rocamadour - spectacular at night.
Good location for seeing Rocamadour. Close to restaurants and far better than staying in old town itself.
A real gem of a hotel at a very reasonable room rate. Brilliant location with free parking all around, extremely helpful and friendly staff.
it has to be the warm welcome I received on arrival and gave me all info I needed for my stay nothing was too much trouble if I required any a brilliant buffet breakfast lovely room with sunny terrace good car parking close to hotel just perfect thank you
it has to be said would be nice to have a coffee /tea making machine in room
Convenient location Very helpful and friendly owner/manager Plenty of room in family room Good breakfast
Room was a little spartan
Outstanding location, great and very helpful staff, good breakfast
The friendly helpful owner, the spacious room, value for money.
Sometimes it felt a bit far from Rocamadour, especially after walking up and down the Chemin de Croix, and the Grand Escalier!
very friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to provide an excellent service. very clean and comfortable and brilliant private terrace. No room for a fridge but constantly changed ice packs for coolbox. Gave lots of useful information about visiting the area and would book restaurants and attractions for you.
Excelent location Very freindly and helpfull managers and staff Clean place Good breakfast
Wireless Service was mostly down
Nothing at all
Female receptionist on duty on our arrival very good, spoke very good English, thorough, knowledgeable & helpful, offered Wifi access without prompting.
Ditto another reviewer, yes a small bar area would be lovely.
We loved Rocamadour. It is a must to visit this amazing little town if you are in the area. The staff were very friendly and gave us an itinerary and spots and restaurants to check out. The hotel was very comfy and cosy, a real French feel. We had a lovely little terrace outside our room as well.
The hotel was very nicely located. I think it's ideal to be in L'Hospitalet and walk the traditional pilgrim path into Rocamadour, there is easy parking, and a very nice little supermarket right next door where you can buy fresh bread and regional specialities. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and one of them was a triple with a very large attractive terrace. There was an issue with the wifi which the owner was very helpful in sorting out.
Very friendly and helpful manager. Parking outside the hotel. Away from the heat and bustle of Rocamadour's main street yet an enjoyable walk around the main sites of the village. Several bars and restaurants with amazing views of Rocamadour. Just right for our over night stop en route North.
