Room was very basic with down-at-heel furniture and fittings.
The staff. The young woman who helped us each day we were there was just exceptional.
This is an older hotel in need of work. The rooms are tiny and so is the bathroom and shower, and it really needs work, from the broken tiles on the shower stall to the shower curtain that was not clean. The hotel was sort of okay for a couple of days but more than that would leave you wishing for a better accommodation. There are better choices nearby for the same price.
Location right at door step to Aix city centre.
No ability to make a cup of tear coffee
Location Friendly informative staff Parking right in centre of town
Noisy; thin walls
Once we arrived at Le Concorde, we realised it was very convenient to all the major sights plus some close eateries. Staff made me a cup of tea on request!
Very helpful staff. New very clean room. The excellent position.
The parking was at time difficult to get out.
Its quite close to the centre. Easy walk. I didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that. Girls friendly. Staff good english when i ran into difficuly !
The picture suggests room with nice doorway. However these seem 2 be newly renovated that i didnt get. The courtyard is dimly lit, no overhead light at my door. Horrible room! Old material up the walls. No hairdryer. No little kettle- I luckily brought mini water boiler. Although cleaned daily with old carpets&such walls it cant feel nice. Also no effort made in courtyard or facade/entry. Couple of flower boxes even would cheer it up a bit. Im afraid it depressed me going back in in the evening ! Wish id at least had a new room! Also we were thrown out of bed by cleaning staff. After full days journey to get there i was exhausted next mormming. Not only did cleaning knock continuously at the door but reception rang & rang. I jumped into the shower & as soon as i was dry i let them in ! Enough said i dont think it was worth the location. Will travel again in the spring 2 visit my son but will probably stay elsewhere.
The room was an utter disgrace. The carpet was old and marked. The red curtains were faded and had holes in them. The bathroom so small you couldn't swing a cat in it! The tiles around the shower were chipped, old and dirty. Cheap tatty flooring and there was no shower gel etc. Towels were so old and frayed. The walls that thin you could here next door and below. As for the cost of the breakfast 10 euros for a cup of tea and bread and cheese extortion! This hotel should be closed and renovated up to a decent standard. In England it would be closed down.
Room was very adequate and pleasant for the price. Very clean. Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Location Garaging Staff
Unfortunately, as is the case with so many hotels these days, the bed had a plastic under-sheet. This makes it too hot to sleep and causes sweating and discomfort. When are hotels going to stop this none-sense? I removed it, as I always do, and had a great nights sleep.
Location is good
Hotel in general and rooms in particular look tired and display an overall worn out condition.
The twin room was large and so was the bathroom. Both were clean.
Our room was street level and the two large windows opened onto one of the busiest boulevards in Aix. We wanted fresh air but the noise from pedestrians and traffic was deafening. We were both glad we had booked for only one night. If you stay here make sure to ask where your room will be.
Unbeatable location. Good price. Very comfortable bed. Excellent Air Conditioning. Parking. Elevator.
Shower in room 7 is the smallest ever!!
Good location, Clean,
Although it's private, bathroom is not located in the bed room.
Convenience Car Parking
Bathroom was very cramped Hotel looks generally tired
Hotel close to centre
Standard of room poor on first day when I asked for help with my luggage was told "This is not a five star hotel". Lighting on the room bad and do was wifii
leaving, it was close to the old city and restaurants, the maids had to work hard in endeavour to maintain a cleanish standard
the room was old small and broken as im not a big person my feet where over the bottom of the custom made bed and could not navigate room comfortable forget the bathroom you could not dry yourself without foot in arse washer maybe it was the oldest most broken room in aix, not to mention the arrogant lady at the front desk whom has only one interest , taken the money and getting her own way,
Walls were paper thin so woken up at 6am by children singing upstairs and sounds of footsteps. 1st day of my holiday so wanted a lie in, at 9am they decided to renovate the room next door to me, cue hammering and drilling. Reception staff really rude and unhelpful.
we luckily stayed in the courtyard, I heard that there were some rooms overlooking the main road which were very small and noisy
Room needed a face lift, linens old Very noisy during the day with construction!
The rooms were large and clean and have a very nice terrace for sitting outside. The location is excellent and the is onsite parking at the reasonable cost of 10 euros per day. The host was very helpful and all in all this was good value for the cost.
Very tight car park.
Very handy to the attractions in the old town, including the famous street markets. We had a room with balcony overlooking the courtyard. Very satisfactory. handy too to the Centre station.
Did not realise just how far the town is from the TGV station ,but an excellent bus transfer available.
Very quiet room (courtyard side) with balcony; fabulous view towards the hills. We loved leaving the balcony door open at night for the cool air. Room was spacious (2 twin beds). NB the room was in the *older* part of the hotel.
Desk not staffed 24/7. Amenities scarce: No hairdryer, few toiletries, few electrical outlets, no mirror outside bathroom, very spartan room. Wifi was spotty & required frequent re-entering of password.
Good location, spacious comfortable room, clean and spacious bathroom
WiFi service was erratic and had very low bandwidth
Although not that near a straight forward walk from TGV bus and local train station and near to centre. Lovely views from balconies and apartment with patio. Friendly staff.
Last time I stayed the breakfast wasn't good so I didn't have it this time, although it may have improved. Shower and bathroom a bit too small in the room I had this time but would come back.
