Excellent for city centre with lots of French character and parking available. Price very reasonable, however our room was small but didn't really matter. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking budget with comfort.

Hotel staff very helpful and changed our unsuitable room for an excellent change of room with no problem (spoke English). Position of hotel perfect for city sightseeing/shopping on foot. Recommended. Be prepared to shuffle around for a car parking space.

The rooms were nice and the bathroom was modern and overall very clean and comfortable. Easy walking around shops. Staff very helpful. Parking could be an issue at times, and there was no bar fridge for travelers wanting to have cool water.

The staff were very helpful indeed. The price and location were excellent and the room was functional but clean and spacious. Not convinced about the drainage -- the bathroom had the whiff of something dubious about it. It would have been nice to have had some water provided in the room.

The apartment was great. The pool was a bonus but busy with children as it was half term. The restaurant was another bonus however we went on Friday night when the menu is restricted to 3 x cheese local dishes which was a little disappointing - they did tell us when bookong but we thoiught it was in addition not instead of the usual menu. Bread being available to order and collect was great. Staff were helpful and friendly.Location next to ski lift was also great but ski-ing is a little too advanced for us. Free train pass was also excellent. Apartment was warm and clean. There was a shortage of equipment in the apatment. No t-towels or oven gloves. Aparently they did previously provide them but visitors took them home with them. Having burnt my hand on the first night we had to go out and buy the items. Would have taken them with me if I had known. Also needed to take swimming towels.

Ours was an overnight stop on the way back to the UK, and this hotel was a very good choice. The location was ideal - only a short walk from the centre of San Quentin, and near to a good variety of shops. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and happy to speak in English when my French wasn't adequate. Our family room had a surprisingly spacious bathroom, and it was clean. Not a dislike, but just to mention that our room was small - but it was clean, cosy and had TV with a good selection of channels. For the price though, it wasa very good value. If there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room, it would have been a nice touch. The hotel parking area is small, but there is alot of public parking on the streets nearby.

We stayed in Le Florence on our way to the alps from Calais. We were impressed that they offered breakfast from 4am. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was ideally situated for visiting the centre of the city. We would stay again so we could have more time to look around St Quentin. Parking was on site which was useful. The room we had would be small for an extended stay.

We drive to the Alps often and always stay at Le Florence to break the journey. This time we were given a huge, well renovated, comfortable room. As always the staff were friendly (they even called me a few days before our arrival to check what sort of room we wanted) and the hotel is excellent value for money. If I'm being really picky, the towels are getting a little worn and the bathroom could do with a light near the mirror... but I'm being churlish!

V. Comfortable beds. Easy town centre location. Large room suitable for families. Reasonably priced. Secure parking. Would have been nice if price included a small breakfast or wi-fi. Some of the rooms are upstairs so getting luggage in and out is not as easy.

A comfortable hotel in the centre of the city/town with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately there are no lifts in the hotel and climbing to the 3rd floor with suitcases was a bit of a chore

We stayed here just as an overnight stopover on the way from the uk to Switzerland but even though the hotel is only a 2 star we thought that it was really excellent. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very comfortable and big enough. Bathroom was obviously just refurbished as it was spotless and of a good standard. Breakfast was good and for the evening meal you have a great choice of restaurants a few minutes walk away. Overall highly recommend.

The large family room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent and it was quite easy to find. The family room could benifit from a fridge and perhaps a couple more single beds insted of the 3 double beds it has. Breakfast was quite lean and not a great variety was available.

It is in an excellent location with secure parking right in the town centre. The Italian restaurant next door was superb. It is very 'french' and felt like a real cultural experience. The breakfast was good and very good value. We had rooms 2 & 3 which are in a self contained area with loads of space and a total of 3 double beds and 1 single! The bathrooms were excellent and the only complaint I have is that the rooms smelled of smoke.

I was unexpectedly delayed and arrived very late, but the hotel were very friendly and helpful and made sure that I would get in and be able to park the car safely in their car park. The room was spotless and the shower room too. The room was quiet and had free wi-fi, the connection to which worked without problem. All the staff were very friendly and I will definitely stay there again.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. When I informed them that one of our party had limited mobility due to a recent operation they immediately switched them to a spacious ground floor room, without any fuss. The location was excellent for us to visit the christmas market in the town square - just a 2 minute walk away. The hotel parking was also very convenient. We will be returning to this hotel again.

Good location, walking distance to restaurants, bars & shops. Not easy to find (especially in the dark). Only 1 bedside table and lamp - in a double room 2 would be better.

It had good reports from other guests. I was travelling back to my home in France so it was just an over night stop. Even though it is in the centre of town it might have been difficult to find without gps. The receptionist spoke to me in English which helped being tired and jet lagged. All staff were helpful and had smiles which is unusual for France. They also upgraded me as the had a bigger room available.

We stayed at Le Florence in St Quentin as a part-way break on our drive down to our home in the Languedoc. It was handy, pleasant and good value for money so we stayed again on our way back to Calais. We would do so again, depending on timing requirements (how far we want to drive on the day!) What made Le Florence special was the lovely, friendly and helpful staff who even remembered us (and our dogs) on our way back. Le Florence is a 2* hotel. Whilst at the top of this range, it is obviously not a plush hotel. However, it is comfortable and clean and does what it needs to do. So, there was nothing we did not like!
