Good location in the town, easy access to restaurants etc. Easy to find on the main road.

Good location in pleasant town on the river central location for the Dordogne no evening meals but excellent place next door is highly reommended carparking good incl disabled space

No wifi in bedroom although in booking details, owner/managers only response was a gallic shrug breakfast expensive at €10 room was said to have antique furniture, for that read, various old bits in varying styles and condition

Very quirky hotel with interesting rooms furnished with antiques. The bedroom was on the small size but very comfortable. Owners were welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast with home-made preserves and fresh pastries and croissants etc.

TV and WIFI not working in my room.

Everything at this small hotel was perfect - the room was not large but so cosy and beautifully decorated. Tasteful furnishings made this hotel a joy to stay in - I wish we had been able to stay longer. The river was a few steps away and the hotel was on the edge of a pretty village with shops, market, cafes etc. Very enjoyable visit.

Fabulous decor. Friendly helpful, attentive owners. Spotlessly clean. great location to explore the Dordogne. Safe area. Super breakfast - lots of homemade preserves to try.

Although the room and bathroom were rather small, they were utterly delightful. The spotless room had carefully chosen fabrics and elegant antique furniture. We also had their breakfast with homemade preserves and an abundance of breads and croissants, ham and cheese. Lalinde itself has many interesting medieval buildings and access down onto the dordogne where our 7 year old daughter enjoyed paddling in the gentle shallows.

Very relaxing and comfortable after quite a long drive. Clean, friendly, quiet and picturesque. Amazing breakfast!

Rooms are small, but nicely done. The carpet floor wasn't hoovered properly, but it was daily tided up properly. For a short stay it's perfect. you're in a lovely small town and you can reach the ancient cave or Bergerac between 30-60min. There is enough parking in front of the hotel.

If you stay longer, don't take the groundfloor rooms. You can hear everything from the corridor, because the doors are old. If you like it quite and to sleep with open window look for somethin more in the country side, because the hotel is at the main road. Stratecically good, but not for those looking for a quite morning.

We found Le Foret to be a very charming hotel. The owner was very helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. Breakfast was very good. The decor in the hotel was wonderful. Would certainly recommend it.

We enjoyed the helpful warm welcome we received, the stylish salad and quiche prepared freshly for late lunch on our arrival. Our room was clean, comfortable and again stylish. The restaurant was lovely with a shaded garden area outside. Jean-Luc and Jean-Paul are wonderful hosts and we would highly recommend this charming hotel. Situated in the lovely town of Lalinde there are easy walks to other eateries and pleasant sights.

L'hôtel est très joli et le personnel vraiment très sympathique. Le salon de thé propose de très bons gâteaux maison. Rien à redire.

L'accueil , l'ambiance un vrai petit "havre de paix" Très belle décoration de l'ensemble de l'hôtel, et petit déjeuner à ne pas manquer!!!!!!!!!!

L'accueil discret mais chaleureux avec des propriétaires très disponibles et serviables. Le décor est raffiné et de bon goût. Enfin un petit-déjeuner, classique avec des produits excellents, pour la plupart faits maison. Un petit tour s'impose au salon de thé pour ses gâteaux également faits maison.
