Loved the design of course. The products provided in the bathroom by l'occitane. The thick walls aka no disturbance from other guests. Sweet silence. Fantastic to plug my iPhone to the Loewe tv and hear some Black Keys, Bob Lenox from my own choice... A perfect stay if you are with the right man/woman in wonderful Toulouse. Missed stationary with the hotel Le Grand Balcon's name. Yes, I still write letters and love to receive them. Being veg. And believing into a healthy breakfast I missed out some vegs like cucumber, lettuce... There were only some pieces of tomato in the sliced ham, sausages container. Eww!!! Bio and wholewheat or "complet" bread would be terrific. Soymilk as alternative to regular milk. Bio veg.juice. Something glutenfree.

Fantastic Hotel. Great location in central Toulouse. Facilities in the rooms were excellent, very comfortable bed, staff were great and could speak good english (being Australian). Offered over 700 TV channels! (although not many in English but brilliant for all other European languages). Great Wi-Fi throughout hotel, good prices at the bar. Would definitely stay again. Didn't have breakfast as just a little pricey at €18

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Good location for shopping and to walk around. A five star hotel without a private parking is just wrong. Even though the location was nice it was very hard to get to the hotel because of all the construction that's going on around the plaza. Finally it just doesn't deserve a five star rating.

Hotel is very well placed, stuff is friendly. Big disappointment for this hotel, that does not deserve it's 5 stars at all. Reception does not accept 500 eur - a joke for such an establishment. The corridor is black and old and durty, thebeds are too small and not comfortable. The heating did not work in the bathroom - we took a shower in the freezing room. Next day the room was changed, but no upgrade or excuse. Minibar is empty. Room service is from the restaurant nearby- the food is horrible. No body lotion provided - never seen in other 5*. For breakfast some old slices of meet smelling badly are served. Coffee is prepared in advance, so take tea or drink nothing. No fresh juices... I have never written such a negative comment about a hotel, but I do not want other people to get dissapointed by their stay and it would be nice if the hotel management pays attention to their services.

Location was central and excellent for shopping. It has an intresting and unique decor. We discovered just before sleeping that there were no sheets for the sofa-bed. When I called reception I was told it was my fault for not informing them in advance even though I did inform them via e-mail. And even if I had not, I would have found this attitude unwelcoming and inappropriate for a 5 star hotel.

Excellent location in the middle of Toulouse center. Close to shops, restaurants and metro station. Convenient public parking very close by (1 minute walk). The hotel serves a good breakfast and offers spacious rooms that are well equipped. The shower in the bath is not ideal; a separate shower would be less risky. The beds cannot be called soft, so after more than one night this possibly becomes unpleasant. Also the carpet on the floor in the room tends to be (or become) dirty.

It is a beautifully renovated and designed boutique hotel, right on the Place de la Capitole. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, and the staff is most friendly. The catastrophic anti-car policy of the city of Toulouse makes the hotel virtually inaccessible by car. Your GPS-system makes you go round and round in small streets, you are lucky to find one of the few public parkings, from where it is wise to take taxi a to the hotel. Don't let the term "voiturier" as one of the hotel services fool you!

Our room was very noisy - kept waking our daughter up Not a good night No communication until you get to hotel about roadworks.... Which add up to 40 mins onto your journey. Should have been a note to park close and walk

Its location, right next to the main Capitol square. For a 5 star it was poor. The room was lovely but given that it was "prestige" and therefore better than the standard then it was very very small. The TV was rubbish in that it only had the basic french channels despite advertising 200 others and also appeared to be set up in arabic or north african, also the ipod dock didnt work or I couldnt make it work. However, TV was not the main purpose of our visit so it didn't really matter but a 5 star should be on top of this sort of thing. Finally, Toulouse is undergoing major works and the noise from outside the hotel is dreadful, thankfully we had a quiet room at the back. Oh, and the air conditioning was a little odd.

Nice beautiful bar inside Welcome was not warm at all starting from parking with rude people outside of hotel. Hotel is very narrow - no place to put your luggage in the lobby and in the room and no place to seat. Room is small and dark. Idea of clouds and aviation is good but implementation... just ok. Not a bad place, but never again.
