This isn't common hotel but residence for long stay. You can't wish for normal hotel's service but it is very comfortable even if you don't expect it. Staffs are businesslike but friendly. There isn't unnecessarily furniture but clean and bright. There is a convenient foods store. We want to stay here again. We used public WIFI there.

Well located, does "what is says on the tin" good safe garaging for motorbikes etc and a pool. Maybe the owners/staff have been there for many years and have certainly lost the greeting capability for the guests. No attempt was made to steer us to local attractions, door code was not advised (we arrived back just after ten to find it locked, luckily a fellow guest let us in!) and we had to ask how to get to the pool and for a pool pass, all of which other hotels on our trip had provided willingly and with enthusiasm. Notwithstanding all that we would return as it is good value accommodation for the area and there is a lovely local boulangerie serving great coffee and freshly baked croissants only round the corner.

it's excellent price for the money, only 15 mins by train to Monaco, located 5 mins to the beach. We paid 45 eur per room which came in an excellent condition with plasma TV. definitely recommended for both families and budget travellers. 8eur for breakfast is not worth it..you can get croisant or other pastries in bakery stores everywhere else for few cents

The accomodation and our general impression was quite good or better accetptable. It is not a luxury hotel and could be equiped more generously but for a shorter stay it is acceptable. After reading some of the negative guest reports we were affraid to go there but this was really not true. We had quite good experience with the hotel and the staff was very nice

The room was spacious and clean. I had a big bed and it was very quiet. The view was onto a rubbish field. And the staff did not clean the toilet everyday. Internet worked only in the restaurant.

Spacious Internet didn't work in the room, hotel was not close to Monaco, but the train station nearby made it easy to get there.

The hotel is very near the train stop. This hotel is in a town with nothing to do but go to the beach. The town of Menton is about 2 miles and would be better to stay in if you like to walk around shops and restaurants.

The room was clean but we got one room at ground floor which made it impossible to open the window. There is one blonde lady (a little chubby) at the reception who is absolutely and totally rude. She has no manners whatsoever and definatelly no knowlegde of public attention. She got to the point of handing other guests sheets to make their own beds and telling us that we shouldn't wear beahc clothes at night. If you don't care about attention and are willing to be twice as rude to her, it's an option. Rude, rude, rude lady at reception. And the shower was broken.

A totally awful experience, worst place I ave ever stayed in this place has no stars for a reason its a dump. It was run by 2 ladies who failed to speak very good english, the hotel is a run down hostel it really is the pitts.

I did not like very much about Le Grand Cap. I did like the air conditioning. Everything worked, and it was clean. Complete lack of character, hard to find, no refrigerator.

Monaco was easily (and cheaply) reachable within a few minutes by train! Wireless internet access did not work in the room. The parking fee (7€) per day in the garage ist too much.

Hotel itself was adequate, however we had the hotel order a minibus to the airport for 6 passengers with luggage at a set fee, instead two taxi's showed up and we had little alternative than to take them at almost 3 times the cost - so stay ended on a bitter note.
