Le Grand Large  

Excellent view of Biarritz and the Grande Plage. Easy walk from Le Grand Large into town. Decor of the rooms fits perfectly with the seaside.

Water pressure on the 8th floor a bit spotty. Wireless was out for 2 of the 3 nights of my stay.

I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price we paid. We were extremely happy and would definitely recommend and return to stay in the hotel.

Its the second time we have stayed now and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area, the rooms, parking, location and access are excellent.

Free wifi that worked well. Family sized rooms

We were allocated a room in the block opposite the main high rise hotel which seemed a bit weird until we walked in and opened the roller shutter window blind! The room looked straight down the Grand Large beach with opening doors and a balony, the view was amazing as we were about 150m above the beach and we watched the surfers from the balcony. The room had a small kitchen which was a highlight for us as the local market had great fresh produce so we cooked at home and enjoyed the fantastic view. This was a great stay!! They also let us check in early and check out late wooohooo!

The decor was a bit dated but clean and the bed was good. The room was very close to the road and noise was at times loud but the view was more than worth it!

I stayed in a studio apartment with a wonderful view, a great balcony, and everything I could possibly need for my three nights. I was able to do my own cooking which I really enjoy, I could hear the sea all the time - which I loved. The staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed every single minute of my stay.

Location - close to the city and yet had feel of being away from it. Wonderful view of the city from 7th floor of the beach and surfers. Design of the studio with a sitting area and sleeping area for adults separate but convenient. Staff very helpful. My son left his teddy bear and discovered it's loss on our return home, we rang and immediately they offered to send it to us. Staff informative and very attentive. Will be returning there in the future.

Our room on 7th floor had no air conditioning. The time we were there October was not very hot I could imagine it would be very uncomfortable in July and august.

We were traveling with a 3 and 5 year old so the location of the Hotel is superb. Our family room with sea views and a balcony was spacious and well appointed and the staff at reception really friendly and helpful.

Location is good, different ways to get to different parts of the center, max 10 mins to all attractions. The farmers market and a supermarket are 5 minutes away. The room has absolutely everything to feel like at home even to cook. We had a room with a sea view and it was absolutely stunning. There is an outdoor heated pool until the end of september.

The hotel location is up hill so be prepared for some "workout". The hotel habitants are mostly senior citizens.
