This stylish and modern seafront hotel is situated in Dolus d’Oléron on the west coast of the Island of Oléron. It offers an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and fitness centre. Guest rooms at Le Grand Large are brightly decorated with a contemporary design and feature a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Some rooms feature a seating area and offer a view of the Bay of Biscay. Fantastic location on the beach. Great indoor pool and jacuzzi perfect for complete relaxation with superb views. Amazing gastronomic restaurant. Delectable food! The owners have done a great job transforming a former 60s style concrete hotel block into a modern design hotel with the addition of the floor-to-ceiling glass frontage overlooking the Atlantic which houses the pool and restaurant areas. The comfort rooms are tiny. If you want to wsing a cat at all, you're best not going for the lowest priced room option. There is no chance of getting a bite to eat, not even a sandwich, outside set mealtimes. So if you arrive at 3pm after a long journey and don't want to go out again in search of a place to eat, you'll starve.

Voilà un hôtel de bord de mer très très confortable. Le design et la literie sont de très belle facture, nous avons beaucoup aimé la salle de bain ouverte sur la chambre. L'hôtel est très bien situé et au calme. Une mention spéciale pour le restaurant qui propose a un prix correcte une cuisine superbe.

Le cadre , la situation directement en bord de mer , c'est très sauvage , la vue du restaurant est superbe . la piscine est chaude , le spa très chaud ,petite salle de fitness , excellent petit déjeuner . éVidemment c'est assez cher ...

Situation exceptionnel en bord de mer Chambre prestige avec vue sur mer très agréable et design Piscine et jacuzzi magnifique: un pur moment de détente Peu de chambres d'élans l hôtel donc calme et sérénité assurés Personnel aux petits soins Restaurant très bon mais peu de choix sur la carte : dommage!! Petit déjeuner copieux mais un peu cher 18€

Son emplacement Le personnel a l'acceuil La qualité du petit déjeuner Le service du restaurant (apéritif débarassé avant d'avoir fini les verres !!!) La qualité et la quantité du menu qui n'a de gastronomique que le nom...et le prix !

Avons apprécié un surclassement sans majoration car l'hôtel va fermer ses portes durant quelques mois. Surclassement a L.initiative de la directrice. Pas de présence physique permanente d'une personne dans la salle du petit déjeuner, ce qui a pour effet d'attendre et d'attendre..

Je rêvais d'y aller depuis le reportage présentant la réouverture de l'établissement. C'est vraiment un lieu d'exception décoré avec goût et élégance. L'accueil a été parfait et la propreté de l'établissement est remarquable.

Restaurant gastronomique avec beaucoup de saveurs. Chambres au design contemporain et bien équipées. Personnel très agréable. Balcon trop petit à mon goût ne permettant pas de petit déjeuner dehors.

Le petit déjeuner avec vue sur la plage et les équipements piscine jacuzzi etc L'extérieur est assez laid (ça ressemble à une résidence pour personne âgée) mais il fait reconnaître qu'il est absolument invisible depuis la plage donc ne déforme pas le paysage. La vue sur jardin de la chambre est en fait une vue sur le parking, soyons sérieux! Pratique pour surveiller notre voiture; )
