This truly historic boutique hotel opened its doors in 1846. It is in the center of the city in the heart of the tourist and shopping area, and is near the Tours TGV train station.
Score from 620 reviews Very good
Best Western l'Artist Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Old City center of Tours and 165 yards from the central train station. The hotel features a fully-equipped fitness center.
Score from 890 reviews Very good
Just 300 ft from Tours Train Station and 300 ft from Vinci Convention Center, Hotel de L'Europe offers a central base. It has guest rooms with a private bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 232 reviews Good
Hotel Mirabeau is in the heart of Tours, within a 5-minute walk of the train station, the International Congress Centre "Le Vinci" and the Saint-Gatien Cathedral.
Score from 465 reviews Excellent
Good bed, good bathroom. They have a food-warming pan in the room. They were very nice and I got to store my luggage with them upon arrival before checkinhours and also the dayI left.
Nothing. I did not have their breakfast, so I cannot judge.
Big room, great location, great staff, comfy bed, good price what more do you want ? We were at the end of the corridor so our wifi was a bit slow but ok, the place is a bit of an 'old lady' but you can still see the 'Grand' in her, its a great place to stay in Tours!!
A little hard to get the car to the door even after the location email sent by the hotel, a bit more work required here on their part, luckily we were at nite so could stop in a pullover spot to walk in and get directions. Access is via a contolled walkway which the hotel is able to drop the plinth for but you dont know to access the intercom unless you know the system? During the day it would be a nightmare!
Central location. Very nice staff. Old world hotel. Some rooms nicer than others. Convenient parking
Very helpful staff at reception. Were helpful with a special need I had with no difficulty.
Maintenance of bathroom less than perfect.
location was excellent and staff extremely helpful
Wifi pass expired every 24 hours and different pass was required for each device. Room 355 was very small and in need of renovation but we got a very good price so not complaining
Nice room, helpful friendly staff and historic hotel. Good restaurant at the corner for dinner. Next to Mc Donald's for breakfast.
Convenient central location
Lack of restaurant, and not very good dinners in room service (but breakfasts are excellent)
Very helpful friendly staff. The hotel was conveniently a 2 minute walk from the train station. Very central position for restaurants and shopping.
Location , ease of parking , friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable beds.
Shower over bath, no toiletries in bathroom.no tea or drinks facility in the bedroom.
Large room and bathroom. Nespresso machine in room. Secure underground parking.
Located within 100 metres of the train station, a tram stop, a supermarket and several food outlets it is a very convenient place to stay. The tourist information centre is within a two minute walk and the old centre of town is within 10 minutes walk. Our room was very large with two double beds and a huge bathroom. Has a lift for convenient access to all levels.
Beds were a bit hard.
Excellent location and a good price. Although almost next to the main train station it was quiet in the hotel and a pleasant area. Easy to walk to the main tourist bits. Tours is lovely.
Friendly and helpful staff, air conditioning, conveniently located next to train station, shopping, restaurants. Great breakfast included.
Location & Breakfast ( expensive but good)
Rooms 1. Dated..no ancient 2. Bed ...not clean. 3. Bathroom...facilities cracked, dirty and minimal. 4. No tea/coffee facilities..a basic! 5. We requested 'quiet room', which your manager went to great lengths to confirm as we booked in' as a corner room on a side street. Failed to mention vending facility opposite, evening/early morning drum solos and early morning 'pret a porter ' deliveries. Would you be satisfied? YOU REPLY! We like France. Your current hotel offering is poor....we previously spent several nights in Saumur, where hotel was excellent and delivered its 'standard'.
Everything was great. The location, the staff, accommodation for accessible is absolutely brilliant. If you have a wheelchair this is definitely the hotel to go to in Tours. We loved our stay at this hotel.
Since we were taking trains the close proximity to the station was a definite plus. Our room was very quiet despite being so close to the train and the tram. The staff was very helpful.
A small fridge would have been welcome. Otherwise, it was quite adequate and I would recommend it to others.
Lovely decor. Good sized family room. Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast
location in the city ok, nice décor inside, clean, beds very comfortable
receptionist one day was not really helpful, iron should be provided in each room, very noisy during the day because of station
Room was fair size. You don't need much when traveling anyways. I loved the pillows and that they had extra in the closet. Bathroom needed more light though. Very clean room and bathroom
Some staff pleasant
Bathroom designed by a madman Some staff offhand Impossible to access with being advised - they claimed they had sent an email - and argued when we said to had not been received - tres Francaise! bedroom noisy with main bus station right outside the hotel
Classic old building ,close to down town.
Stairways and halls look tired and worn.
The staff is what hospitality is all about and these guys were professional and pleasant. They went the extra mile!
The corridors are. Tad shabby
The location was very convenient, close to train station, tourist office, shops and restaurantes.
The noise of the buses stopped right in front
The location is good f or the train station and the tourist office. The front desk staff was very helpful when my husband lost his wallet.
The hotel is very old and while our room had an updated and large bathroom, the decor is shabby and dirty as are the carpets, the hallways and lobby. It needs a lot of work
Good facilities and good location. Excellent secure storage for our bikes and belongings. Helpful staff.
Twin room was very small, not enough room for two single beds. A shame breakfast wasn't included in the price, although we got a good deal on the price anyway, so perhaps it worked out roughly the same. I've only given 'fair' for comfort because of the smallness of the room and the consequent closeness of the twin beds.
