the shower and large bed were good. Internet worked well and i had no problems, booking of a taxi went smoothly. Thanks for the stay
The iron was almost broken and only just worked. The bedding was very thick for the hot weather, would have like a thinner one.
wonderful, quiet, quaint, near to beautiful sightseeing!
access for dropping off the luggage was difficult - common in similar old cities
Location, great towels and toiletries, nice staff
difficult access from closest parking garage, no elevator in garage, not easy with siutcases.
the view and the quietness and helpfulness of staff
The location: Our room overlooked the garden and some beautiful buildings. There are lovely cafes, restaurants & a boulangerie, deli etc right there and it's less than a 5 minute walk to the top of the main street down to the middle of town. Lovely safe area to walk back to at night. Right near the lovely park with fantastic views. The staff were all great, friendly & helpful. Rooms were nice, quiet etc Great to have tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. I would definitely stay there again.
Only the distance from the shuttle drop off point (from the airport) as it ended up costing 60 euros in taxis (30 each way) instead, but that was our choice and hopefully once the tram stop is sorted out, that wont be a problem anymore.
Nice cool veranta for breakfast
Constructions in the street with a lot of noise, I hope it will end in short time
If you are not by car, location should not be an issue. Everything is within close proximity while being still in a quite are of the town.
Arriving to the hotel by car was not so easy as there are some construction works, however parking was not so much an issue. The room was not very comfortable (tiny and the mattress too hard) and the design a bit outdated. In general not such good value for money.
The central location was very good
Our rooms were located in a separate building to the Hotel reception and social areas. The rooms themselves were small and in need of a complete upgrade
Head straight for the parking house and then get the discount voucher from the hotel. Driving in the old city is definitely not recommended.
Great little hotel in excellent location for exploring Montpellier. The staff were really helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel
The hotel is situated in the Centre Historique of Montpellier which is an attractive city, like a little Paris. The old medical school, upmarket shops, the covered market and the Arc de Triomphe are nearby. The hotel has charm and there is a good restaurant "Le Petiti Jardin" with its cheaper bistro next door.
The road outside the front door was being dug up so there was unavoidable noise. This is likely to be only a transient problem. Access to the hotel is a little difficult as the roads are very narrow.
Construction in area.
Atmosphere, old-fashioned rooms
Unexpected steps, very difficult to access by car, unsuitable for weelchairs
Everything but the cost.
The room was large and lovely, but I would have been happy with a smaller one and paying less money. When I made my reservation, there were none left.
Charming place, charming location, charming people.
Good location. Hotel really charming. Staff very friendly .
Wifi in rooms was really poor. But that seems to be the norm in France.
Free WIFI connection was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fairly central location but not that easy to find.
Air conditioner didn't work so it was too hot to sleep well.
I loved the warm and friendly ambience and the very French authentic atmosphere.
Difficult to access/ find but hotel would have provided a map had we requested one!
Restaurant under the hotel, location and view, Pleasant room, clean, private at the end of corridor. Thanks
Paid 20euros more for the second day, not sure why... No air condition!
All staff exceptionally helpful.
For mature people the stairs are problematic.
The hotel was very well situated in a quiet pedestrian street on the edge of the old town. The hotel offered a very good rate at the public carpark which was less than 200 metres away. The breakfast had plenty of choice and good quality ingredients and in warm weather there is a pleasant terrace where you can take it overlooking gardens.
The bathroom was extremely small.
Gorgeous room, comfortable, clean and really friendly helpful staff. Perfectly located in the old part of town, absolutely amazing for a traveler wanting the real old French town experience. Surrounded by amazing shops and restaurants and easy parking at a local carpark with a discount. Loved it!
Driving in the old city is horrendous. Be warned!
Location, staff, nice breakfast
