The ambience of the place - it felt like a true idyll. Service was excellent, facilities great and what a view!

The electronic gates were a little tough to open at night

I love the charm, the gardens the Provecale decor, great Infiniti pool to chill after sightseeing, the friendly staff!

What a wonderful place. All the staff were incredibly charming and helpful. The hotel isn't in St Paul but it's only 5 minutes walk (which is quite useful when working off dinner!). We didn't use the swimming pool or facilities as the weather wasn't great but it all looked very clean. The view from our balcony was simply stunning all the way across Cagnes Sur Mer to the sea. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Do bear in mind, they do snacks there up to 10pm but if you want dinner, head into St Paul.

All the rooms and furnishings are different and unique - very french provencal. Fantastic location for restaurants - no car needed for short break

it is a little slice of heaven. friendly service, quaint rooms, beautiful views, fabulous grounds

we stayed in room 18 which is a suite with a terrace and was a good sized, comfortable room and great to have a drink on the terrace. the general feel of the place is a relaxing hamlet. it was very peaceful. the service and general facilities are a good 3/4 star and not as stuffy as some 5star places are. parking is good and it is a ten minute walk to St. Paul but there is a good 'locals' restaurant 5 minutes away.

nothing to prevent me staying again. more attentive service by the pool would be good but it is a 2 minute walk to reception so not a big deal really.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel and would return again--our favorite hotel of the trip. Only thing I would recommend is if wifi was available throughout the property, we had to go into the reception area each time to check email etc. We own a small business, so even when we are on vacation we are still working! :)

Great location close to St Paul de Vence, very pretty, characterful hotel. Very comfortable and clean with charming helpful owners. Very good value for money. Delicious breakfast.

The beautiful surroundings, the view, the old houses surrounding the patio / the pool area... The calm and quiet atmosphere... peaceful.... But maybe first of all - how the old buildings were taken care of and how the furniture fitted in (we stayed in two different rooms)- Also, the outside breakfastpatio with the most delicious "petite dejeuner" (wasn't petite at all!)

This is the hotel to stay at. It is superior compared to impersonal boring big hotel complex. The staff is very friendly and service minded. The location is perfect just some 5-10 minutes walk from the village or as the starting point for excursions. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Buildings and the gardens with its magnificent flowers and greenery is fabulous. There are beautiful views from the large pool and terraces over the village and its surroundings. Le Hameau represents great value for money.

It's amazing. The entrance under vineyards, the rooms, the pool, the view, the breakfast in the terrace, etc. Just stay there and you'll see.

This my third visit across 2 decades. It had always given me great pleasure and this weeklong stay was even better than the others it has great ambiance , gorgeous gardens and a large swimming pool. The rooms are charming and the staff wonderful.

Gardens and terraced breakfast are fantastic. Within walking distance to village. Car park. Views over valley. Free use of computer with internet access.

An outstanding hotel in a terrific location. We were surprised that it only has a 3 state rating as it is as good as, if not better, than all of the 4 star hotels we stayed in during a 4 week holiday travelling throughout the South of France.

I would like a wider selection for the 15 euro breakfast (cheese, fried sausages, tomatoes...) - and freshly pressed orange-juice.

Warm, charming place with walkways filled with the fragrance of orange blossoms. The best breakfast we had in Europe. Thoughtful, charming rooms.

Tough to find a good restaurant nearby except within the actual village of St. Paul de Vence (where it's hard to park.)

Setting and buildings and gardens are superb!

Hotel bonito e confortável. Ótimo café da manhã. Localização próxima da cidade (dá pra ir a pé).

Embora dê pra ir andando para a cidade, há um trecho perigoso, sem acostamento na pista.
