Score from 208 reviews Wonderful
the village like hotel (estancia), the 'petanque' area, the magnificant breakfast on the terrace, the panoramic view on St Paul and from the pool, the helpful and nice staff, etc.
no food available as of the late afternoon; the seemingly old mattress; jaccuzzi was off
Beautiful buildings, gardens, decor and furnishings, lighting, terraces, setting, views. Lovely spacious room and balcony.Courteous staff, lovely breakfast.
The local (lovely) old town of St Paul is almost completely deserted out of season at night. With no facilities for evening meal at the hotel and virtually every restaurant closed in the town it is hard to find somewhere to eat at night in October.
Excellent staff & service, well maintained, WiFi fair, free parking, nice breakfast
wooden edge on second bed was (for tall person) is a bit annoying
Stayed here 25 years ago and found Le Hameau was still a charming French experience with a staff that was very helpful planning and during my five night stay. Delightful setting, comfortable rooms, each furnished in a country French way, delicious breakfast set in a garden filled with flowers, lemons, grapes
Wonderful staff. Great lunch! Lovely views! Charming rooms.
Sadly, simply had allergy/asthma issues. It is us, not LeHameau.
Staff attention to guests- nothing was too much trouble
Nothing comes to mind about the hotel. Walking to St Paul de Vence is a bit tricky if you are ancient!!!
We have stayed in this hotel many times. It is very well managed and breakfasts in the garden are excellent. The pool is large with plenty of sun-beds and umbrellas. The water is very cold. All the rooms are different in size and furnishings. The hotel does not have a restaurant but do small lunch time snacks. It is a very easy walk into St. Paul for restaurants however you have to walk along the road and take care as the traffic is very fast.
For this 4 night stay we had a bedroom with a window overlooking the very busy road, albeit behind a hedge. The traffic noise was quite loud particularly in the morning from 6.30.am. We were offered an alternative room but this could only happen two nights into our stay. We decided to stay where we were as we had been travelling for for 5 days staying in b & B's along the way and really just wanted to unpack for a while and not re-pack after 2 days.
The hotel is in a wonderful old set of former farm buildings with a terrific view over the valley below, and only five minutes walking from the village.
Everything: the staff, rooms, very nice swimmingpool, breakfast, close to St Paul with restaurants.
peace and tranquility. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will definitely go back
Excellent location just a couple of minutes drive from St Paul De Vence town. Nice rooms and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent parking facilities.
WiFi was a bit slow, but otherwise no issues.
The hotel was perfect for a relaxing couple of days, the pool was lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were fab. It is a 10 minute walk into Saint Paul De Vence
nothing apart from having to leave
The overall facility was country styled elegant. The dining was very good with a superb view morning, noon and night. The staff were friendly and supportive and all could speak English.
Very beautiful hotel
The way to reach the village on foot
Authentique hotel beautifull garden Terasses with nice view.Parking.wifi free! Our room was small but we knew it in advance seen the price. With a view you pay !Roger et Gallet bathroom soaps !
It is the perfect hotel, extraordinary views, beautiful pool, lovely staff, and was often frequented by Chagall - once you are there you will know why - also great WIFI connection in all rooms - my 3rd time there - would not miss a year
Well kept, charming, small buildings with a stunning overhead grape arbor and quaint gardens. Short walk into town and Foundation Maeght. Helpful, friendly staff. Nicely decorated room with a terrace. Bath had beautiful blue tiles but was a little small. Great breakfast in the garden. Even though we did not swim the pool area looked lovely and a separate terrace above had a tent with lounge chairs and great views. I would definitely stay here again.
Because we did not have a car, we needed to walk along a short stretch of the road with no sidewalk to get to town. Room was same as pictured in reservation, however description of room in booking.com listed a view of the sea from room which was not correct. Shower walls in bath could have a little more scrubbing and a different bath curtain that was less transparent.
Beautiful property full of flowers with wonderful atmosphere.
The owner and the staff were all very friendly and helpful ; they made you feel toy were staying with friends . The atmoshere was very relaxed and the traditional french farmhouse decore very pleasant and uncorporate. The gardens were also superb and I can still(just about ) recall the wonderful smell of Jasmin as you walked down the path
Friendly staff great location very charming
The owners were incredibly gracious and helpful when I made a mistake on my booking and turned up a week late in a very busy week ( Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival). They saved my holiday and I had a very relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings with very friendly staff.
Excellent Staff and hotel!! Location also very nice.
Fantastic property, great ambience and relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Great and spacious garden with our room. Great breakfast in charming garden Infinity pool We will stay here again the next time we are in St Paul
Only thing we can think of is that the pillows could have been softer.
