This Provencal style villa with four fully equipped apartments and four double rooms can easily accommodate 18 - 20 people in luxurious surroundings. It is perfect for an extended family holiday or a reunion of friends. The property has a tennis court, large salt water pool, pétanque court and gourmet kitchen with an incredible outdoor bar with a fireplace and seating for all. You can enjoy the sun all day, from morning on your private terrace with a view of the sea, to watching the sun set by the pool in the evening. This beautiful villa is located in the hills above Nice near Saint-Paul-de-Vence with views of the Mediterranean and the Alps and is ideal for large groups looking for a place to gather, celebrate or explore. This property is located near the beach, the cities of Nice and Cannes, charming medieval villages, markets, skiing, golf, and more. The estate consists of the main villa and a separate cottage which together can accommodate 18-20 people in four large suites and four apartments. The 6500 square meter grounds offer many activities including a large saltwater pool, a tennis court, pétanque and a large covered terrace with an outdoor bar, fireplace and grill.
We are a Seattle family with ties to and a deep love of France. Kevin is a dual national, with both U.S. and French citizenship. We have been coming to the Cote d'Azur for many years, starting on our honeymoon (Menton) in 1986. We love this area, the city of Nice, the beaches, surrounding villages, seafood, wine, climate, the shops, markets and the people. We have always dreamed of owning a house here and now have the privilege of being the third owner of Le Haut des Espinets and sharing this unique house with friends and family. We have outfitted this house with everything that we look for in a vacation rental: large outdoor seating area where everyone can gather, large well-equipped kitchen (with nice knives!), well-appointed bedrooms with luxury linens and soft pillows, a big pool, and wifi. The house has easy access to the beach, great shops, and restaurants. And it has a view! This is our only rental property and we take great pride in our attention to detail to make it your dream vacation spot.
We are only 15 minutes from the Nice Cote d’Azur Airport and 25 minutes from the Nice-Ville and Antibes trains stations. We’re minutes away from some of the most charming villages in the area including Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Vence, both only minutes away. The marvelous coastline of the Cote d’Azur is within a short drive with many lovely beaches minutes away. Nice and Cannes, also magical places to visit, are a short drive away as well as some of the French Riviera’s idyllic inland villages such as Biot, Opio and Grasse. It’s easy to make trips from the villa. You can easily drive or take the train to Provence or Italy and ferries to Corsica leave from the Port of Nice. We are also within an easy drive to golf, ski areas, and hiking. We are close to the Cannes Film festival and the Monte Carlo Grand Prix. Our villa is well suited for Yoga retreats or private tennis lessons. We highly recommend renting a car to best enjoy the area though Uber and taxis can be arranged. In short, Villa Espinets is the perfect oasis from which to discover Cote d’Azur's world-class beaches, classic hilltop villages, endless activities and extraordinary views and landscapes.
