The hotel was very charming: old building covered with ivy, beautiful yard/garden, free parking. The rooms are also very cosy and nice. It's about 10-15min walk from Beaune's city center, not that close but not too bad either and it's perfect if you come by car (it's difficult to find parking in the city center so the hotel's free parking is perfect).

Was a bit worried that the hotel was on a busy main road, but was pleasantly surprised to find a peaceful, quiet retreat past the walled front entrance. Our family room had a lovely little courtyard and was very private and quiet. There was ample parking and the location wasn't too far from Beaune town centre (though a little far if you had to walk).

The hotel was very easy to fine from the motorway and was only a 15 walk into the centre. Good parking Some areas of the hotel had been decorated very well and in keeping with the style of the hotel but other areas were in real need of attention in particular the bathrooms eg the light fittings over the bathroom mirror were completely burnt and should be replaced

Owners were extremely helpful, room (in the "barn") was nicely designed. Nice yard and common room for a glass of wine. Bathroom could use a bit more light by the mirror.

A delightful hotel with good secure parking in the city centre. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was perfect for our one night stop over on our motorcycle tour through France. This was an exceptional nice hotel and we were amazed that it was only a two star. Best two star we have ever stayed in.

The ambiance is wonderful. Being able to sit outside in the yard and enjoy a glass of wine before going out to dinner was great and most of the other guests seemed to think so also.Everyone was very friendly so a very relaxed feeling.

It was only a 15 minute walk from city center and breakfast included - nice waitress Non-resonsive - had no heat 1st night, told owner who said it would be fixed, but wasn't - a very cold 1st night! And while they advertise rooms are sooundproofed, they are not; french doors to outside, only access to room, do not even close all the way and only single gazing

Great b&b! It is a quaint, old mansion in the city of Beaune, decorated shabby chic with a 17th century flair! It is a quick 10 min walk straight to the center of the old part of town where most of the sights are. The staff if extremely helpful and provides plenty of recommendations. The bed was the comfiest I have found in Europe, the room clean, and the breakfast simple but tasty (don't pass up the fresh squeezed oj). The only oddity was the shower/tub that came with no curtain and a hand held shower head, but that was minor. If I pass through Beaune again I will definitely be staying here. (Also, there is a hairdryer in the room)

We loved the decor,a mixture of "Belle Epoque" and "shabby chic, very charming. It was great to sit in the pretty gardens.Breakfast was copious, the coffee very good.It was reasonable to pay extra for freshly squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. The owners were welcoming and very attentive and helpful.Impressive command of several languages.A Bonus was the proximity to the town - 15 minutes by foot, even though we found Beaune itself a very unpleasant experience. A very important aspect was free parking at the hotel. Some noisy Americans talking loudly until early hours.

The staff were absolutley delightful and it was a pleasure to stay there with them. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we had a great little area outside our door to sit with a glass of wine each night. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's on a main road so is a little nosiy if you aren't used to traffic noise. Parts of the main part of the hotel could do with updating - like the breakfast room. However our room and the rooms we could see were lovely and looked very fresh and well kept.

The family atmosphere at the hotel, I stay in too many business hotels, this hotel is real fun for vacation. Although it looks like most folks only stay one night I stayed for over a week. It is a nice, quiet place that is close enough to the Beaune city center. It took me a few days to find out that there are very nice walks in the Beaune area, next time I will ask about those at the time of check-in. What I appreciated very much was the list of restaurants that the family liked, that was a great help in the too-much-choice of local restaurants

Lovely family owned hotel - traditional french hotel - very hospitable owners and gorgeous friendly dog!! 10 mins walk to the old town. Free parking in grounds and nice garden to sit out in. Felt it was a little pricey for what we got - would have liked tea/coffee in room as breakfast was extra.

The greeting was excellent and the hotel a joy. We were shown to our room by one of the owners and her pride in the hotel was evident. The decoration in the bedroom and bathroom and throught the public ares of the hotel was beautifully done.

Hotel Belle Epoque
The Hotel Belle Epoque, a former wine merchant’s house, is a charming residence fully restored in the Burgundian traditional. It is just 3 minutes from the center of Beaune.

“We LOVED this hotel....the rooms are both comfortable and very well decorated - made us feel like we were in France. We enjoyed our champagne on the patio deck while watching the sunset. The hotel owners were very helpful with city info and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Loved that it had free parking. Convenient to walk into town (15-20 minutes). Near a grocery store if you needed one. Would stay here again and again.” Diana, San Francisco |
