The location of this hotel was excellent. It was walking distance to everything in the city of Dijon. Didn't realise that this was a hotel that you can smoke in - of which both my husband & I don't smoke & unfortunately the room did have the 'smoker' smell.

room 17 with the balcony and big size room. initially reserve triple room but luckily was able to changed to double(65) and single(49)instead of 98euro per night. suspect the triple room would be tight and uncomfortable. none on the hotel but if to choose again between dijon and beaune, will definitely be beaune (more things to see and do).

Good value, great location, right in the city center. Free wifi. Nice employees. Clean rooms. It doesn't have a lift but that wasn't a problem for us. It needs some refurnishing as rooms are a bit old and basic but for the price and location it's quite a good option.

The location of this hotel to the city sites was great. The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was a good value. The mattresses were low to the ground and too soft.The street noise was loud and went late into the night.

Right in the heart of the charming old city. Comfortable. But a 20 min walk to the strain station. Or a very short easy bus ride. Highly recommend - great value!

Helpful and pleasant staff. It wasn't their fault that Dijon is being dug up for trams! Parking on-street was very tight.

It was very clean and comfortable -- desk staff very helpful, and the location was great!! We walked from the rail station, had easy access to shops and restaurants. Value for the money was very good.

the staff when I arrived were welcoming and helpful. I was allowed access to my room early in the morning which I really appreciated. The hotel is very well situated. The petit dejeuner was ample. there is no lift so that carrying a suitcase up two flights of stairs is difficult. The person on the desk when I left did not come across as friendly - a smile would have helped.

The location in the old city was great, close to restaurants and cute little shops. Staff was friendly and let us store our bags after we checked out. We stayed in room 25 which shared a nice little inner courtyard with another room, so it was quiet. Overall I thought it was good value for the money. No elevators, and the hotel has at least 4-5 floors so be prepared to lift luggage up a narrow stairway. It's about a 15-20 min walk from the train station, through some cobblestone streets (hard on the luggage wheels!) and some roads that are undergoing construction (Dijon is building a tram line).

the hotel was ideally situated and looked the part from the front, the staff were very friendly and polite even though my french was poor, we were lucky with the parking having found a pay and display right outside of the hotel once inside the hotel it was apparent that it had not had much care and attention paid to it for decoration etc.

The staff was outstanding, they advised us abput where to visit, eat, and sites that we shouldn't miss. The idea of staying in a hotel that was so old was fun. Excelent location. The rooms were quite basic and had little frills. The cost seemed high.
