The hospitality and generosity of our hosts. Feeling of being welcomed, knowledge of their region and always available to guide us. Good breakfast with home mades produces.
Charming contemporary hotel with friendly staff and great facilities, the rooms are beautifully done with a very modern feel, would definitely visit again.
The location was perfect and the host was very friendly. The newly renovated house was in top condition.
Beautiful large room. Lovely pool much appreciated after a hot day's driving. Lovely terrace area to sit. Great breakfast with ample choices. Owners friendly and helpful. Peaceful location
Air conditioning not very effective.
Very welcoming hosts and a wonderful facility. It was a delight to stay in the country amid vineyards and orchards yet be just a few minutes from Vaison la Romaine. The room was modern, comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was delicious.
We really enjoyed our 5-night stay, and Emmanuelle was a super hostess - very friendly and helpful and an amazing cook-we and another couple had the opportunity to experience her culinary and creative talents! The 'first class' breakfast was always super-lots of choice and usually with Bio products. We will definately stay again at Le Jour et la Nuit!!
Location in the vineyard Quiet
Hard to find Air conditioning not really efficient
We loved it here. It's an old restored farm property in the middle of a vineyard outside the city. Although we usually go for properties with a view near the water or center of town, this was one of our best choices during our trip through the South of France. The rooms are ultra modern and bright. And although we usually don't go for modern either - we loved the bright colors and unique bathroom designs. It was immaculately clean, and the owner is very accomodating. She sent me a text with directions to the property once we got into town, and that made it easy to find. It was quiet and peaceful - we had a deck on our room with lounge chairs - and it was easy to just relax and soak it up. The breakfast room is sunny and bright, a nice place to start the day.
The ONLY drawback is the location is a few minutes drive outside the city. We didn't mind this at all - but plan your meals around that.
Dinner sensational, beautiful house very nicely decorated
The place was beautiful The room was lovely with beautiful views of the vineyards and gardens. It was spacious with a comfortable bed. It was charming, calming, and relaxing. Our hosts made us feel welcome It was in a good location for visiting the small towns in the area. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 days and it was not long enough. It is just a few kilometers outside of Saison La Romaine.
The place was a bit hard to find. The signage and or directions should be improved. I would not want to have to locate this place at night. Map coordinates with a GPS worked for us.
Location, good comfort. Nicely renovated. Modern style in Provence setting. One has to like it of course. Lovely breakfast with original products
Loud and running around kids of the owner on the premises (even on our so called private terrace) does not allow for the privacy and relaxation one would expect in a Provence maison d'hote. Really a pity!
The location was excellent, just minutes from Vaison La Romaine. It's located among beautiful vineyards, with lovely sunrises and nearby hills. It is also close to the Cotes du Rhone loop.
We liked everything about our visit to Le Jour et la Nuit.
We arrived late but received a very warm friendly welcome. Excellent simple facilities. We will definitely go back.
It was fantastic. We were so impressed we stayed an extra night. The renovation efforts have been nothing short of superb.
Nothing. It was five star accommodation.
Modern room,comfortable bed.
Very difficult to find. No signs, down muddy road.
Host family were wonderful Location quiet and tremendous amenities including those needed for people with disabilities. Close to several other towns in Provence Hosts very helpful in providing information about great restaurants,
