perfect location for city sightseeing. Very kind staff this hotel might not be good for family with small kids because the room was smaller than I expected.

Perfect spot, right on Kleber Square in the historical and shopping center of Strabourg. Parking was discounted and is located directly underground. There was no A/C but the fan did an excellent job. The front-desk was very friendly and helpful with a map.

Too noisy in hot summer conditions, when natural ventilation was the only option and the tram stop was right outside.

We stayed one night on our way to Boeblingen and another night on our way back to Paris. The first night stay was great, we had a beautiful small room for 4 persons (2 double beds), well decorated, well maintained. The bathroom was small but clean. Internet is free for 24h, just get the code from the front desk. Location of the hotel is great for those who want to visit the city. Parking is in a public underground parking (Kleber) and we got the discount from the hotel. The front desk lady was very nice on our arrival, but the one on checking out gave a kinda cold attitude. (She was the same one who gave us the dirty old room on the second night) On our way back to Paris, gosh, we were not lucky I guess, we had a worse room than the one we got before. It was old, ugly, dark (turned on all the lamps in the room, but gosh it's still too dark to do anything). The carpet was dirty and old, the sofa was very old and smelly, got difficult time to manage with 2 kids of 6 yo and 18mo who wanted to play on the floor. We did our best to not complain and go with it. If on the second night we had the same room as before, I would have given 5stars rating for this hotel. But the second night ruin it.

Very nicely located on a large plaza in the heart of Strasbourg. Rooms on the third floor are small, but the price was right.

The hotel staff were very friendly, always trying to assist me in whatever I needed. The breakfast was very complete and tasty. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit tiny: It's worth staying there. Silvia

Location and the price for this location If you hav a room to the "wrong" side ... as we had - there is a tram- station down there on that side an it is pretty noisy. The rooms don't have doble windows.

Location - very close to the old city. The rooms are nice but tiny. Clean enough, although some rooms (the ones in the attick) are a little smelly. The staff acts rude - I had to wait for the check-in birocracy till the receptionist finished her private phonetalk! We paid for a double room and what we got was a twin room with no possibility of changing because all the rooms were booked. Poor in helping with directions.

Hotel Kleber was a good choice for us as it was a clean and well-run establishment near to most attractions in Strasbourg. The room was nicely appointed, staff courteous and efficient and while not inexpensive, was reasonably priced. Breakfasts were quite good and my vegatarian daughter was able to find a good variety of foods. Rooms on the Tram side of the hotel can be a bit noisy with sounds of trains and late night revelers

Le Kleber Hotel surely is the perfect choice for visiting the city. The hotel is located in the old town center, on a beautiful square with fountains. All main city attractions are within walking distance. Staff and service are very kind and professional. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Wireless internet worked perfectly. The price is quite acceptable, even inexpensive. Definitely deserves recommendation. No direct access by car.

The hotel had very good rate including breakfast and the location is excellent, right in the city centre. The staff was extremely welcoming and polite. Breakfast room in an upper floor has nice views of Place Kléber. If you park in the Kléber/Homme de Fer parking next door you are allowed free rental of bikes in the parking itself, a very good way to explore the city. The room was tiny and there is no lobby to speak off only a reception desk and then the direct access to the floors via an elevator. It is very difficult to park in Strasbourg and if you come by car it is essential to be able to find your way to the parking "Kléber/Homme de Fer": check regularly indications and pannels on your way to hotel as even the gps will give you wrong indications with all the one-ways and trams-only streets.

The antiques and the feel of an old world manor house If you take the mini breakfast offered on check-in instead of the full breakfast be sure to advise them again when they bring it to you in the morning.

The location of this hotel is great. Staff is friendly. Good wifi connection. Adequate breakfast buffet (for 8,50). I stayed in the 'Cappucino' room (each room is different) on the 5th floor, which is a double room and this was very comfortable. Minor details (for example, no glass to drink water from in the room; the lighting in the room is not very strong; for people not used to city noises, I would recommend some ear plugs for the occasional noises of the tram running by and people shouting on Kleber square; and it would be great if breakfast included the possibility of eating something warm).
