A simple stay in a perfectly located hotel. Room was typical of the region and clean. Very easy check in and out
The plastic picnic cups in the bathroom
location is central in the city. Tram directly in front of the house, Parking as well. Breakfast good and very good service.
Cute decoration, perfect location, good wifi, clean and nice, good value for money
The room was a bit on the small side, but OK for just one person.
Very clean, very nice staff. Beautiful hotel.
The toilet window does not have shutters, so you can be seen outside.
Really good breakfast buffet. Bathroom was large and well-lit,
Lighting in bedroom not very bright.
For us accommodation while travelling is all about being in a prime location and being able to get a good nights sleep. Big ticks for Le Kleber on both counts. Great bathroom too.
There wasn't much not to like. If I were picky I might say that the lift is small when you have your luggage with you, but its definitely better than having to walk up stairs.
We travelled by train and it was an easy 10-minute walk to hotel which was located centrally - easy walking distance to all parts of the old city. Five tramway lines inter-connected just around the corner from the hotel. Our room at attic level was quaint and clean. Bed was comfortable.
Luckily our visit was in October - I would imagine it gets very hot in the attic in the summer and if windows are opened you can hear the sound of the trams. In our room - not much space for getting around the bed. A shower curtain around the bath would have been useful. The sink tap wobbled and plug didn't close, but we managed.
Location. Breakfast. Style.
Convenient location Breakfast Comfortable Beds
Bathroom somewhat compact
It's in a great location but thats all it's got. -Parking just outside but it's 17euro 24h.. Discounted by hotel to 12 euro
-Kathy at reception was hopeless and had selective understanding of English.."what is a towel"? -Rooms are tiny I had an old room the carpet was awful..bathroom was not nice. -I was changed to a newer room but there was no space for my suitcase. -Everything on Sunday is closed in Strasbourg!! Everything... Not that the hotel staff would bother to let you know. For the money it was not great. Especially if you get the old room
being in heart of the city, small rooms but comfortable, very clean
The place is a bit noisy during the night (especially on saturday)
Pleasantly decorated rooms in a location right on Place Kleber, very convenient for both walking and tram (Homme de fer, a major tram intersection, is right around the corner). Despite the location being right on Place Kleber, my room was quiet as long as I kept the windows closed. Comfortable bed, although the room (Myrtille) would have benefited from a queen size bed instead of 2 twins as there was very little room to walk/put down a suitcase. Breakfast was not included but pretty good value (eur 9).
Could not keep windows open at night due to street noise, somewhat cramped room.
the best location, comfortable rooms, staff is friendly, the best value for money
crowds of teenagers shouting at night in place Kleber
Breakfast was fine. The location was good. Subject to my dislike of Room 404 I thought the other rooms I saw on Floor 4 were of a decent size.
Room 404 was small, it had a single bed and a double bed. It's floor was on 2levels and was a hazard. The shower room was small. Both bedroom & shower room were too small to swing a mouse! However the other rooms on the 4th floor were OK.
location and friendly staff
the room was too small …. looked like the recently split one room into two
Proximity to old strasburg
Noisy,had to shut all windows,no aircon,small room,tatty all round.
Room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable and I loved the timbered ceiling (was in one of the smaller, attic doubles). Decent, modern bathroom. Breakfast room was small but with a lovely view out onto the Place. Couldn't be more central, with underground parking literally on the opposite side of the square, so extremely convenient.
The square had some late-night occupants and early morning trams that made things a little noisy for a perfect night's sleep, but was probably worth it for such a central location.
The hotel was right where we needed to be. The car parking was not too problematic with a discount on the 24 hour underground parking adjacent (with lift to pavement right near hotel).
Bedroom was a rather tiny (although quaint) The shower water went all over the bathroom floor
Really fantastic location in the centre of Strasbourg, staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here again but over the colder months.
Only issue here was lack of air conditioning. It was very humid during my stay, a fan was provided in the room but it was too loud to keep on during the night. So it was either too hot and uncomfortable to sleep or too noisy.
Staff were extremely helpful. Allowed us to store our bags free of charge as we arrived in Strasbourg very early! Location was excellent, making pretty much everywhere walkable.
Not really a negative, but the decor of our room could do with updating... it was extremely yellow.
Nice, clean room in the middel of the towncentre.
Very noisy at night. Till 3.00 AM they were working at front of the hotel (tramrail). At 7.00 AM you hear the first tram driving in the street. Lift was out of order. Stairs are difficult.
The location was excellent, walking distance from train station, cathedral, and Petite France. Spacious, clean, modern rooms. Comfy bed.
Construction outside on tram tracks till 1:30 AM. Elevator was out of order during our stay and stairs can be difficult for our older travelers.
Only reception employee they are so polite
