This hotel is located opposite the medieval Cité de Carcassonne. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a spa with hammam.
Score from 333 reviews Fabulous
The position was wonderful, the room, quirky in a great way, the shower room was lovely, it was amazing value for money. Others had moaned about the walk from the car park to the hotel over the cobbles, it is not far at all and it is a small price to pay for the location.
I have osteo arthritis and did find the mattress very hard, although my husband had no problem. We were on the first floor which I managed, however anyone who has problems with stairs should ask for a ground floor room, as they are not a straight forward staircase.
Great Location, near to very good restaurants (try to St. Jean - just beside!). The Logis is small but has everything to make your stay a very comfortable one within the Medieval City. Good breakfast. Staff are very helpful and charming! We enjoyed our stay very much.
I can't really think of anything we didn't like.
The location. Breakfast delivered everyday by the local baker
Room 1 was a little too small, but they did email us with the room size, which we still choose to book. The place is a little rustic, so don't expect 4*, but it is clean, staff really friendly, and the location is fantastic. I would go there again!
Everything was just right.Exceptionally quirky building set in to the old walls of the town, Breakfast is delivered every morning by the local baker.
Small self contained room. Quiet location as away from main tourist roads. Bed OK, and useful to have a small sofa to sit on as well. Fridge a bonus.
Had to lug suitcases up from outside main gate. No where in the cité to buy milk or water. Need to get supplies before you ascend to the BnB. Mattress fairly hard. 'Plastic' UHT Milk for the coffee/tea.
The delivery of breakfast into the asket was like Christmas presents arriving. The ability to park close by was good too.
Kettle leaked. A few more pillows please.
Amazing location right in the castle walls, staff lovely, includes fresh croissants and pain au chocolat in the morning, also has teas, coffee, milf and juice. Was lovely to check in, go for a wander and have dinner in the castle square.
Great location in the walled city. You're able to be there before and after the day- tripping crowd. A great way to check out the castle and ramparts before everyone else arrives in the morning.
Not a thing, we enjoyed our stay there.
They did a very nice job of utilizing the interior of a very old, small space. Great location and great value.
Location inside the city walls for that price was amazing! Breakfast was delivered in a little basket by the local baker - a very sweet touch, made the stay feel like we were part of the local community
As more of a B and B rather than a hotel the overall 'finish' of the room wasn't amazing - but it was still comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.
If you are going to Carcassonne staying inside the walled city gives you a real feel for the medieval life. I love that it was only 3 rooms and part of the wall. The room was lovely, there was a couch and folding chairs, coffee machine. We went downstairs to pick up our basket of fresh rolls and croissants which was such a rustic touch! We wandered around the city at night and early morning when not so many people, which was lovely. If you are looking for something charming, rustic and not your average hotel book this hotel. We loved it!!
Nothing but a couple of notes Its a long way from the train with a backpack, so I would catch a bus or take a taxi. The steps are narrow and steep which was no problem for us but if you cant manage stairs it may be for you.
An incredible location and magical evening. Great value and super helpful host. Felt like I was back in middle ages and fantastic having car parking inside the ramparts.
Room was much smaller than I expected a one bed was a fold up. However, the location more than made up for that.
There was no wi-fi,no credit card payment facility and the accommodation was shabby.
Romantic quiet location in the medieval city by its ramparts an ancient house with a tight spiral wooden staircase, small walled room with lovely window and view to tower and little garden where we took our breakfast of fresh croissant and baguette and coffee. No staff to intrude - wonderful! Its not the Hilton, and that is what is wonderful about it.
The room was clean and comfortable with a great ambience. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Excellent location, clean, value for money, friendly and helpful owner.
Loved being inside the medeival village. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a cute little courtyard with small tables.

Had to haul cases over cobbles but it is a traditional location after al.l
We liked everything particularly the private courtyard breakfast, the unspoilt decor and ambience of the room (two)and although we have visited Carcassonne several times before this experience gave this visit a whole new dimension and therefore enhanced enjoyment. We really felt part of La Cite during our stay.
Room two shower was potentially dangerous as it is sited on a raised tiled dias which became wet and slippery, This arrangement would be helped to be much safer with appropriately placed grab rails.

We loved this quirky little hotel. Our room was lovely, very clean with great features. The hotel is in a fabulous location. We loved the breakfast basket which was a nice touch. Carcassonne was the highlight of our two week holiday and we would definatly stay at this hotel again.
It is a pity we had the smallest room it was a bit of a squeeze with my two dogs.
Location was perfect for the old city. Was welcomed warmly and given good information and a map. Private garden fantastic for a quiet escape from the crowd.
Bed was not the best. Sheets were a bit damp from washing.
Slept like a princess. In the morning wonderful warm croissants and baguette left at the door in a basket. You can enjoy expresso, juice & croissants in courtyard. The owners were wonderful
Only two nights. Not enough time!
I liked the fact that the hotel is right inside the medieval village. The host met us and took my bag upstairs which was kind. The room was lovely. We had number 3 as we were a late booking. It is probably the biggest room but I think the others are even quieter than ours- which was quiet enough. The decor is lovely and I wished we could have stayed longer
Nothing it was super
