The location is the best. I wanted an area that was active, had great shopping, good restaurant selection and close to a metro station. I've stayed at many nice hotels (St. Regis, Four Seasons, Ritz) and although you cannot compare the Hotel Madison to them, for the money I saved staying at the Madison, I filled my suitcases with beautiful purchases. It was clean, safe, the hotel management was so helpful and polite and I had an absolute blast. |

Location was in avery safe and luxurious neighborhood of St. Germaine. The room was also bery comfortable but stylish as well with Bose speakers, flast screen TV, and the coolest shower I'd ever seen that changed colors while showering. The night staff was unable to answer many of my questions, like if I could extend an additional day or reserving a wake up call. The day staff was much better. |

I loved this hotel. The location is fantastic - in the heart of St Germain - right on the metro and bus lines and yet very peaceful and charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful and number of them have been there for many years. The bathroom was normal size with a good tub to relax in after a day of walking - not at all common in many Parisian hotels. And everyone loves the candy bowl on the front desk. The mattress was a little more firm than was good for me but I took the comforter and adjusted the comfort level. One odd thing was that the light switches also turned off the plugs so if you are charging camera batteries - leave the lights on!! |

One of the best locations in Paris, quiet and nicely appointed room, great bathroom and helpful English speaking staff. I will definitely make this my "Paris" hotel. |

The Hotel staff were very welcoming. Excellent location to explore Paris's Latin Quarter. Two floors, 4 and 5, currently under refurbishment but no noise at the weekend. If arriving by Eurostar to the Gard du Nord station jump on the tube as there is a direct train to a station directly opposite this hotel. I would use this hotel again. Cost vs room size..... but you pay for an excellent location. We did not try the breakfast as it seemed a rip-off. (There is an excellent breakfast place almost directly opposite which was also open on Sunday). The hotel charged us 8 euros for two cups of tea! |

The location was excellent and the rooms were well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the fact that there was a water kettle and coffee and tea in the room. We would stay here again. The site said courtyard view. There was no courtyard at the hotel. The room description should be changed. |

Due to the Euro and GBP being one for one, the hotel worked out a little expensive, but they upgraded us foc to a bigger room due to renovations being carried out, lovely hotel would stay again. |

Very well located and nice public spaces. We didn't like the overpowering, cloying smell of the cleaning agent used. We would have to open the window to freshen the room. Also, we would hit the bedside tables everytime we either got into or out of bed. |

Great location, clean/cozy/comfortable/quiet rooms with nice street view, corteous staff. Definitively a 4-star hotel and would surely come back again and again (...preferably at a discounted rate!). Rooms somehat small, nonetheless very comfortable, clean and cozy. Rather expensive, but was lucky to find a discounted rate. In any event strongly recommended and surely a place to come back to! |
