Le Manoir

The hotel was in a beautiful village. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and he opened the restaurant for us. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Vanessa & Andrew are professional, warm, understanding & most obliging. They have lovingly restored the interior of a beautiful old Manor, and left the facade as it has benn for many centuries. We had dinner there in the evening, and it was very good. Breakfast was superb! We are not used to this quality & quantity on our usual stop-overs in La France Profonde! Le Manoir is most suitable for families, with suites of rooms that can accommodate up to 5/6. Parking is available right opposite the hotel which is in the town square. If you are carrying the 'kitchen sink' in your car, (as we were), you will be allowed park at the rear of the building for the sake of peace of mind. The village itself is worth a visit from an historical point of view, especially its world reknowed église. We unreservedly recommend Le Manior!

Any small dislikes/complaints are not worthy of a mention here. One could not be negative about this establishment.

We stayed one night on way to ferry. Very convenient location. Historic building. Room very nice. Food very nice. Would happily stay again.

A very pleasant stay ,charming owners and lovely location,not a huge menu ,but everything we ordered was excellent and a great breakfast. Would certainly recomend as a stopover or a central location to tour. Lovely old building and villiage.

Quiet village location with buildings dating back before the 16th century. The owners were a lovely English Couple who have done their best to keep the character the building with a fantastic stone spiral staircase. Tasty homecooked meals that wont break the bank.

For us it was a perfect location but if you are looking for nightlife then forget it. Wednesdays the place is closed then on Thursday the Market comes to the village.

The owners of the hotel went out of their way to provide excellent service. They genuinely cared that their guests had a good time.

Fantastic peaceful location. Spiral stone staircase to the rooms fascinated the children! Having 2 rooms with shared bathroom as separate "annexe" was great for families.

Friendly English proprietors, very relaxed, the hotel is nestled in the corner of the main square, very picturesque little village.

Le Manoir was the most unique hotel we stayed at during our vacation. It has old world charm (16th century) with modern conveniences. The breakfasts were delightful and the dinners were sumptious and definitely home-made. It was also nicely situated; close to both Mont St. Michel and Saint-Malo. Absolutely loved the hotel and city. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is grea, has a very nice atmosphere and the family room we were given was far above expectations. If you're looking for modern design then look elsewhere, but if you're after a bit of tradition in a very comfortable and clean package, then you cant go wrong with Le Manoir. Additional points for a very attractive and obviously recently renovated bathroom.

What isn't there to like about this establishment, quiet country town, short hop to coastal tourist spots. Proprieters Andrew and Vanessa are extremely charming and helpful providing us with a wealth of local information and never short of a laugh. Made us feel very much at home. Highly recommend the beer and food at this establishment.

Pas de volet aux fenêtres et les rideaux sont blancs : impossible de dormir! L'odeur de poulet rôti dans une des chambres de la suite que nous n'avons même pas pu utiliser (pas de fenetre dans chambre pour aérer)! Le fait que nous avons du réserver 2 "suites" pour 6 (chaque suite ayant 2 chambres) alors qu'on pouvait très bien dormir à 6 dans l'une d'elle! Literie très mauvaise ... Petit déjeuner bas de gamme même s'il y a la quantité. Tout fait sale.

La fenêtre n'avait pas de volet, il n'y avait que des rideaux.

Les gérants un couple d'irlandais sont super accueillants et très serviables. Déco façon pub pour le bas et la chambre familiale (5 vrais lits + canapé et lit bébé) très cosy. Les repas (dîner et petit déj), simples, mais de qualité et copieux (2 ados à nourrir) et de très bon rapport/qualité prix. Le top : l'Irish dans le canapé, devant le feu dans une magnifique cheminée en pierre

L'originalité de l'hôtel,... Demeure du xv° siècle, je crois. Bel escalier en pierre et cheminées partout. La gentillesse d'Andrew, le patron et son épouse. Repas simples, mais de qualité. Discussions au coin du feu avec le patron. Hôtel familial proche de sites touristiques (Mont St Michel, Dinan,...) Super sympa; à dimension humaine. A recommander, car très attypique...

Le wifi ne passe pas partout (murs en pierre); pas de téléviseur (maison classée, donc pas d'antenne, ni d'adsl;...)
