The peacefulness, very large spacious buildings very comfortably designed. The friendliness of the staff. To walk around the very little village, gather a bit of history and eat at a wonderful restaurant. Nothing to dislike at all.

The manoir itself was lovely and perfectly situated for our plans. The staff were warm and friendly and we left wishing we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!!!

The whole experience is briliant. The old restored buildings, the carefully designed rooms with an oldfashined romantic charm all done up carefully at a high level of quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, and Le Manoir de mathan is certainly an experience worth repeating. We had a special out of season deal where the value for money was outstanding. I have rated the value for money in the questionnaire according to the normal list price, not our deal.

le cadre ,le calme ,la propreté nous sommes surtout déçus du restaurant :les menus sont toujours les mêmes qu'il y a 4 ans ,le service trop empressé à desservir,et ne se retourne même pas quant on quitte les lieux trop cher pour le qualité et la quantité

L'edificio è eccezionale, circondato da un magnifico giardino. E' anche molto comodo per visitare le spiagge del d- Day senza essere in un luogo troppo turistico. La camera anche se pulita e ordinata è arredata con un gusto superato, anni '80.

Das Hotel ist ein altes Herrenhaus mit sehr schönen Möbeln. Die Blumen und der grosse Park hinter dem Haus laden zum Verweilen ein.

Bien situé pour la visite des château et villages de Normandie. Le Manoir est bien restauré. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables. Accueil inexistant au Manoir... Il faut se rendre à La Rançonnière pour avoir la clef et ce n'est pas indiqué ! Le parking prévu n'est pas utilisé par les hôtes. Ceux-ci se garent devant le Manoir. Salle de bain sans aération... Aménagement de la chambre trop chargé et vieillot.

This place is a jewel! We were driving to Crepon from Mont Saint Michel and we seriously thought we were lost, so deep in the country were we, and then we drove around a bend and there it was, so beautiful and welcoming in the afternoon light. An old stone manor converted to a luxury hotel, all the comforts but still rustic and unique. There is a lovely walk through the fields to the main hotel where dinner is served. The food and dining experience were wonderful. Breakfast was a delight. The beds, linens, bathrooms, views, and decor were perfect. Our hostess was friendly and so helpful - I had left the adapter to charge my iPad in Paris and she just opened a drawer full of all kinds of adapters that had been left behind and gave me one to keep! We plan to return, again and again. There is nothing to not like about Le Manoir De Mathan!

“The chateau is fully renovated with modern fixtures comfortable beds, updated electrical and a great bathroom with a soaker tub and enclosed shower. The highlight of our visit though, was Miriam, the housekeeper. Although her English was basic, she tried extremely hard to make sure she understood our needs.
