We like the situation of the hotel, the decor and the rooms This is our 2nd visit & it was disappointing. During breakfast, vacated tables were being set for lunch & tablecloths ironed. Dinner was not the Michelin standard we expected. During check-out, the Proprietors carried on a conversation between themselves and I felt they were rude. Customers/clients are not respected now. |

Excellent accommodation and setting. Close to good walks. Bagnoles was a very nice small town with bars and restaurants to hand. Service was excellent. Disappointed in the initial state of the room. Lots of flies in the room, many of which were dead on the floor. Whilst the presence of flies is something to be expeceted in a rural, the presence of many dead flies on the floor. Also, the room was cold, with no ability to control the room temperature locally. After several attempts the hotel staff overoad the system. This indicated to us that the room had not been checked before we took up residence. After these initial problems. the rest of the stay was very good. |

personeel prima, behulpzaam mooi hotel. Eten in restaurant was super. Ik ben tevreden over hotel. Echter op de website staat dat de Normandie stranden op een rijafstand van één uur liggen. Dit klopt niet. Gemideld is de enkele rijafstand 2 uur. |

De aardige staf en medewerkers, de uitstekende keuken en de mooie wijnkaart. Goede bedden. De rustige omgeving, golfbaan vlakbij en het plaatsje Bagnoles is erg leuk met nog een ander hotel van dezelfde eigenaar met ook een goede keuken. Ongezellige ontbijtruimte met steeds dezelfde items voor het ontbijt, dus weinig variatie. Wij hebben 6 x overnacht in dit hotel en 3 x keer in het hotel gedineerd en kregen steeds hetzelfde amuse. Geen gelegenheid om 's avond's ergens gezellig te borrelen in het hotel. Voor wat betreft de kamer was er een heel klein zitbankje, geen ruime tafel, wel twee stoeltjes, wel openslaande deuren, maar geen balkon met meubilair. Het enige vermaak op de kamer was de televisie met uitsluitend Franse zenders en Eurosport en de radio was stuk. De minibar te klein en te weinig glazen (b.v. geen bierglazen) De badkamer wat gedateerd en de vergrootspiegelverlichting deed het niet, geen bodylotion of crème, te weinig haakjes op handoeken op te hangen. |

Le service et l'accueil était d'un bon niveau. La restauration notamment était impeccable (avec une carte de vin qui était exceptionnel par sa profondeur en terme de qualité et prix - nous avons eu une excellente demi bouteille pour 12 euros !) La propreté et vétusté des chambres et salle de bains n'était pas acceptable pour le tarif pratiqué. Nous aurions mieux fait de manger dans le restaurant et prendre une chambre ailleurs. |

Anche questo nostro secondo soggiorno al Manoir du Lys è stato piacevolissimo, come lo scorso anno, anche se la stanza è un po' meno confortevole del pavillon des bois. La cucina dello chef è sempre eccellente e spero torneremo in futuro in questo delizioso hotel Il bagno è separato dalla stanza da una parete in vetro e chi si alza di notte accendendo la luce disturba chi dorme; inoltre il lavabo è bellissimo da vedere ma assurdo : è larghissimo ma profondo pochi centimetri e aprendo il rubinetto ci si inonda d'acqua. |

Rustige en nette kamers, verfijnd restaurant, aangenaam verpozen in het overdekt zwembad. De omkaderiing van het zwembad is evenwel aan enige renovatie toe.Gangen naar het zwembad waren erg koud en vochtig. |
