The comfort of the bed and the bathroom were excellent and the staff very helpful indeed. Location excellent but very expensive compared to other accommodation we saw in the same vicinity. We felt it was overrated as a 4star hotel compared to others as it did not have extra facilities eg: resturant, room service meals, tea making facility in room, as we have found in other hotels around europe.The staff were helpful and brought us hot water into the room for a cup of tea. |

The Hotel is nicely situated, within a very short walk of the Chateau. The room was magnificent with genuine seasoned wooden floors and a superb bed. We felt like royalty in such well-appointed accomodation. As with so many French hotels, the breakfast was poor value for money. |

We only stayed two nights but found the staff to be extremely helpful and offered us sugggestions about activities, bike hire and restaurants which proved to be most helpful. The bathroom was very lovely. Grounds and pool were very attractive. |

The room was wonderful. It was the most spacious room we stayed in during our 2 week vacation in France (including stays in much more expensive hotels). The bathroom was wonderful with all modern fixtures, and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bedroom was also very nicely air-conditioned which is most uncommon in France and much appreciated. Hotel is a great value for the price. |

position in Amboise,ambience ,onsite parking,quality of room furnishings one receptionist did not give clear instructions to DaVinci Museum,which was annoying.However found the front entry eventually.the other receptionist we found charming and helpful.Athough the weather was not warm the online photographs did not show the small surrounds and smallness of the swimming pool |
