Service was good and standard of English was excellent. The bathroom we had in Room 2 was very impressive. The service at breakfast during the peak times was a bit slow and probably some extra staff would have been needed. |

Very accomodating staff. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely return to this hotel. Bedroom furnishings a little dated but that seems to be the norm with these types of hotels. |

The perfect hotel from which to visit the Loire Chateaus. Amboise is beautiful, and Le Manoir Saint Thomas is exceptional. The location is perfect, the beautiful grounds are a respite at the end of the day...the hotel is clean and up to date...our room was wonderful! The managers are welcoming and efficient and made us feel pampered and at home. The staff are also very helpful and gracious. |

This property is a beautifully restored old estate house with fine furnishings. The location in Amboise is excellent. The grounds are also beautiful. The service was superb, and the reception warm (thank you, Lucy). |

The staff was great, as was the location (around the corner from Chateau Amboise). The room was spacious enough for a family of 4! |

Perfect and quiet location, a few minutes walk from the castle. Friendly receptionist suggested a couple of good restaurants and has shown us around. No tea facilities in the room by default, but we didn't ask for it. |

I had asked to setup a table in the garden to propose to my girlfriend, and they really overcharged, bottle of champagne 60 Euro – for 100, some pate for 40 Euro. My girlfriend said yes – we had a perfect vacation, but this will be the reason that I won’t go back in October to the same Hotel. Still I recommend the hotel, it is lovely and charming, just don't ask for any favors of the staff. |

Beautiful building, pretty garden, easy and pleasant walk to main part of town, good parking, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, surprising range of food on offer for a continental breakfast. |

The comfort of the bed and the bathroom were excellent and the staff very helpful indeed. Location excellent but very expensive compared to other accommodation we saw in the same vicinity. We felt it was overrated as a 4star hotel compared to others as it did not have extra facilities eg: resturant, room service meals, tea making facility in room, as we have found in other hotels around europe.The staff were helpful and brought us hot water into the room for a cup of tea. |
