Set in an 18th-century building, this eco-friendly overlooks the Gardens of the Trocadero. Some rooms offer views of the Eiffel Tower, which is a 7-minute walk away.

very friendly staff comfortable beds close to the Eiffel tower and tourist areas The staff went above and beyond helping me with Delta when my bags didn't arrive
nice hotel, good location, there has a good bakery and Korean restaurant next door, near the eiffel tower
location was excellent. close to the eiffel tower and good local reasonably priced restaurants.
shower head was broken and not fixed in the 4 day stay.
The staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble, location was great...we would definitely come back again.
Room decent size.Kettle and fridge a real plus.Booked the adjoining rooms as had 2 teens with us.Great boulangerie next door and supermarket opposite. As a bonus we had free parking as it was august!Liked listening to all the church bells.Very near the metro.
I specifically requested 2 single beds in the 2nd room as we have 2 teens, boy and girl and even added this as a special note on the booking.Arrived and there was a double..it took over an hour to sort and we were quite travel weary at that point.
Area of hotel. Lovely beds. Great facilities in bathroom. Safe. Decor of room. Staff very helpful and polite.
Only one milk each!! Lift took along time whilst staff were busy moving laundry trolley - not their fault.
Warm welcome from friendly staff who were very service centred. Beds are comfortable and rooms aren't as small as many reviews may lead you to think!
Having to ask for towels each night as only 2 provided for 3 people.
Loved the location!
Thought the breakfast was over priced for what was served.
Our first impression started with the mails we received after our questions. It quickly turned out the staff would do everything to make sure we would have a lovely stay. And we had. Le Marquis Eiffel is only 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and 10minutes from the metro station. And all of this by foot. Across the hotel there is a shop. So when you don't want to pay a lot at a cafe it was very easy to buy some drinks there. Another thing we really loved was the breakfast. At first we thought that €17/person was a bit expensive (I have to be honest, we never travelled before) but when we had breakfast we were full until noon! Even then we weren't really hungry
We went to Paris with the 3 of us. So we asked a triple room. When we entered the room we had the feeling the room was only ment to be for 2. There were only two pairs of slippers, two cups for tea of coffee,... Beside of that little thing, we had no complaints or whatsoever
We had a nice stay at the hotel. There is a market right in front of it for those who don't want to pay for hotel breakfast. Metro station close.
Aircon not working, tried to ask the help of the staff but still they can"t do anything regarding same.
Great location near the Eiffle Tower, good size room, great comfy bed.Walking distance from great cafés
nice staff and wallcome and they are very helpfull . walk to effil tower just 10 mint . i recommand this hotel .
Great location and great staff, triple room was spacious and this is surprising for a hotel in Paris! Staff were always helpful and provided to our needs. Please don't listen to the bad reviews. This place may be slightly difficult to find at first but as soon as you find it you will remember it everytime! Closest to la motte piquet grenelle station!
Taxi that was booked by the hotel on our way back to the airport came late and it states flat rate of 55€ but the driver then charged 2€ more for baggage and did not apologise for being late, but this is not the hotels fault entirely but we did ask several times if the taxi was still confirmed for the time we had asked and we were dismissed with a 'yes of course' everytime. Overall great though!
My family and I stayed in this hotel in August 2014. Le Marquis is located in a quite area and close to bakeries, cafe's, restaurants, convenient markets. The bed was comfortable and the hotel itself is clean. The hotel staff Tatiana was very helpful and knowledgeable about giving us directions. The Eiffel tower was only four blocks from the hotel. When going back home our taxi driver took us on a quick tour in a nicer section of Paris. Definitely visit Palace of Versailles it was worth the trip. It was easy to get there by train. I will definitely try other hotels when we decide to come back to visit Paris.
The only negative comment I can say about the location of the hotel was that the streets were dirty there were dog poos were all over. The staff were not that friendly except for Tatiana. The hotel hallway needs renovation. The hotel housekeeper was cleaning at 3 pm while we were taking a nap. Do not be surprise if you smell the sewer as you navigate some areas in Paris. Would I recommend Le Marquis? Its up to you read my comments.
Clean rooms and warm top hospitality.
I really like the location, and the staff was very friendly. I really recommend this place, it's a good place for the family and its very close to the Eiffel tower and Metro.
Great location. Parking garage across the street. Less than 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms were as pictured. Beds very comfortable.
- staff were excellent and very accommodating - location excellent - rooms clean and comfortable
- wifi performance limited late evenings
The staff were very helpful and courteous, very comfortable beds, great wifi
Nothing really. Wish the rooms were bigger though but that's Europe.
The hotel and staff were fantastic. I've stayed in Paris so many times but this was the first time I've stayed in this area - and it was fantastic. The location was perfect - I just loved it.
We booked a room for 3 - it was too small and the bed was a cot bed (only just big enough for my leggy 14 year old niece). And housekeeping only set the room up for 2. I wouldn't book for 3 again. It's just not set up for it. There were a few other problems too - but think it was unusual.
Our particular room size was good but our friends room was very tiny . very clean good location
Location of the hotel.
As environment conscious people we would have loved to use more than ones our bath towels but there was no place to hang the towels in the bathroom! Good general maintenance would make look this hotel even better. Scratches on the doors, dirty elevators, and dusty carpets reduces the perception of a good hotel. We went to the restaurant close by called "Vim & Maree" and felt highly discriminated and didn't let us in!
